2019 Cajun Classic Bracket and Teams Link
The Cajun Classic Major will be played this Friday and Saturday with 25 teams taking to the fields. Friday night starts at 7:45 PM CENTRAL time and they will play down to the final 8 in the winner's bracket late into Friday night. The favorites are the 'AA' teams Nightmare based out of Missouri and Xtreme based out of Minnesota with a number of 'A' teams like Baugh Ford that will try to pull off the upset like they did last year. The field looks evenly balanced. The fields are artificial turf and it will be much cooler than the 90+ degree temperatures this tournament used to get when it was scheduled at the end of July. The 6 Conference teams will be fighting for 165 + (6 x3) = 183 points to the winner and 143 to 2nd place.

Nightmare/Miken is the #1 seed and Xtreme/Miken/ASP/Athlon is the #2 overall seed. The other teams looking to get the win without any major teams present are: NIGHTMARE/MIKEN; Baugh Ford/Kut4Sports/Worth/Miken; Beckham brothers/Pure/Exclusive.
Cajun Predictions: The Cajun moved from its July date but it is still expected to be in the 80's all weekend. Let's see who will overcome the heat in the middle of the day. The final 4 undefeated should be: Baugh Ford versus Xtreme and Nightmare versus Beckham Brothers. Pitching and defense will allow Xtreme to make it to the championship game undefeated. In the losers bracket I predict teams to win their next game after dropping down.
