The women's Nationwide Conference USSSA opener was played at the Big League Dreams park and its replica major league fields in Las Vegas, Nevada.  The 16 team double elimination tournament featured 5 of the top 'AA' Women's teams in the country!  Smash It Sports/Derby Girls/Easton powered their way through the Women's Major beating their arch rival Bryant Express/OA Apparel from Arkansas 13-9 in the winner's bracket finals Saturday and 13-1 in the championship game on Sunday ending the game with a walk off home run – mercy rule win.  The two teams had former teammates playing against each other which made the game a little more interesting.  Smash It Sports/Miken from Virginia was 3rd as they won 4 straight games in the loser's bracket.  And Easton Boom was 4th after they won 3 straight in the loser's bracket and were sent home on a walkoff hit against Smash It Sports/Miken.
