Tournament Preview
The annual "Peach State" Shootout this year is at Al Bishop Park this Saturday and Sunday. Al Bishop has 5 – 300 foot fenced fields and the weather should be warm and sunny and the top team should be Worth Astros who is currently 2nd in the Nationwide Conference USSSA points standings. There are 29 teams total including 12 Nationwide Conference USSSA teams fighting it out for 201 points to the winner. The weather looks good and it should be warmer so it will be interesting to see how those Dudley Classic M's that seem so hard fly in a little heat?

I will say I kindof wish I was there to cover a lot of the AA and A teams that haven't received much coverage this year.
I will be back at it in Chicago next weekend.
Atlanta has some surprises the last couple years with a D team KPow finishing 2nd a couple years ago after they beat 4 conference teams and Precision upsetting Scene/Albicocco last year. This year the clear favorite is Worth Astros and they should have 2 to 1 odds here. But the other 'AA' and even 'A' teams have a shot as many of the Baugh Ford and Primetime players are from Georgia and Nightmare and TDB/TM Sports are due for a good tournament. Also Pure Sports has the #3 seed and what could be construed as a good draw.
My final picks are Worth Astros to win, Pure Sports #2, Baugh Ford #3, TDB/TMSports #4, and Nightmare and AllOut tied for 5th.
