1st Place – Resmondo Specialty Tank Worth
Resmondo went undefeated and won the 2nd Annual "Choo" Major NIT in Tennessee this past weekend. They knocked off Ohio 'A' team 3rd Street/Louisville Slugger 51-36 in the Winner's bracket championship late Saturday night into Sunday morning and beat them again 47-34 in the finals on Sunday. Resmondo moves to 2nd in the Nationwide Conference USSSA point standings. 3rd Street finishes an impressive 2nd as they continue to score big innings early in their games. Scene/Albicocco/Worth/Miken/Monsta was 3rd and Backman Shoppe Louisville Slugger finished 4th. Tied for 5th in the 32 team field was TG/Red's Astros/Headlines/Worth from OH/IN and Thunder/Blowoutpicks.com from NY. Thunder scored 164 runs in their last 3 games combined. The tournament was a smash mouth hard hitting affair as cool temperatures, rock hard Dudley ZN Classic M balls, current bat technology, and hard infields with short home run fences made for really high scoring games.

The women's Major was won by Derby Girls/ASP/Combat who knocked off Team Easton (Enough Said) in both the winner's final and championship game
