Here is a recap of all the winner's bracket and final games.

You can see pictures and boxscores of each of these games by clicking the Game # link at the beginning of each of the below recaps.

Game #1:  4 The Fallen/JTF/Hawaii who earned their berth to the Major by winning the USSSA Military Worlds came out guns blazing with 5 runs in the top of the first inning and led 5-3 after 1.  The Pure Romance (PRI) offense sputtered in the early going and in the top of the 6th inning 4 The Fallen got a 2 run double from Clayton Shaw and another 2 run homer out of shortstop Chuck Garmon to take a commanding 16-7 lead.  PRI shortstop Pat Foster made a nice play to hold the lead to 9.  In the bottom of the 6th PRI crawled back into the game with 6 unearned runs led by big Jon Jamisons 3 run homer and they trailed 17-13.  In the top of the 7th though 4 The Fallen got a 3 run homer from Jesse Ayres which led to 9 runs and 4 The Fallen won the first ever Major World Series game they played in 26-15 to advance into the bracket to play Smash It Sports later in the evening Wednesday!

Game #2:  VCH Worth playing with special uniforms to commemorate a teammate's recent loss set the tone for the game in the first inning when power hitting Isaac Gonzales hit two massive home runs two thirds of the way up the giant 45 foot high score wall in dead center field.  The bombs were over 400 feet when they hit the scoreboard and would have travelled some distance further.  VCH led their fellow Worth team 6-2 after 3 innings.  In the bottom of the 5th VCH got 7 more runs to lead 13-7 and put away Broughton in the bottom of the 6th with 3 more homers including a third homer from Gonzales, a homer from Josh Kirsten, and a homer from Zane Trammell and they advanced to play Resmondo later in the evening 17-12.

Game #3:  In a first round battle of solid 'A' teams Team Racks jumped out to an early 5 run lead in the top of the 1st inning.  Albicocco answered with a 3 run homer by JD Genter in their 8 run bottom of the third to take a 9-7 lead.  In the top of the 4th Racks pitcher Tyson Steele hit a 3 run homer to give the lead back to Racks 11-9.  Albicocco batted around though in the bottom of the 4th and scored 8 runs – 6 of them with 2 outs to take a 17-11 lead.  Racks wouldn't really make another run until the top of the 6th when left fielder Nick Price hit a 2 run homer in a 9 run inning and Racks led 20-19.  Back came Albicocco again though and they scored 10 runs in the bottom of the 6th inning led by leadoff man Cory Large who hit a 2 run homer and Albicocco held on 29-24 in an entertaining action packed game.  Albicocco out homered Racks 7 to 5.

Game #4:  It was all Backman in the first inning as center fielder Brian Logan made a great catch against the fence to hold TG Brand to no runs and Backman came in and got 5 runs all with 2 outs in the bottom of the inning.  In the top of the 3rd TG Brand outfielder Jonathan Gastineau hit a 3 run homer but in the bottom half Backmans Ryan Harvey hit a 3 runner of his own and they increased their lead to 11-4.  Backman pitcher Lloyd Watson added a 3 run homer in the bottom of the 4th to go up 16-4 and TG brand got a grand slam from Jonathan Greer to close the gap to 17-8 but could get no closer as Backman finished TG Brand off 28-13 to advance to the round of 8.  Backman catcher Terry Baggs leading the way with a 4-4, 2 HR, 5 RBI performance.  Backman had 10 home runs in the game, 3 from leadoff man Ryan Harvey.

Game #5:  Thursday morning's opener found Red's Astros really starting to get things going in the bottom of the 2nd inning when Phillip Whites grand slam homer led to an 8 run frame and a 12-4 lead over FBI.  In the top of the 3rd inning however Fence Brokers grabbed the momentum as they scored the most runs in an inning in the tournament to that point with 16 runs, the first 12 of which came before the first out!  Brian McBryde had the standout hit of the inning with a big 3 run homer.  In the bottom of the 3rd FBI left fielder Joe Gordon made a diving catch but that wasn't enough to hold back Red's Astros who scored 8 runs – 3 on a Brandon Dillon homer to tie the game at 20-20.  But it was all FBI from there as they scored 14 more in the top of the 5th and Red's could only extend the game once on a Newbill homer and lost by the run rule in 6 innings 37-30.  FBI hit 14 homers in the game including 3 each from Billy Maggard and Alex Henry.

Game #6:  Big Shannon Smith got Xtreme/Miken going in the top of the 2nd with a 2 run triple to give them a 7-1 lead over OC Swats.  OC Swats came back though in the bottom of the 2nd when 2 Xtreme errors and a bad hop led to 5 runs as Swats closed the gap to 7-6.  In the top of the 4th inning though Xtremes Shannon Smith struck again for a 3 run homer and a 16 run explosion which led to a 23-7 flip flop win over Swats.  Xtremes Andrew Miller was 4-4 and Smith collected 7 RBI as they out homered Swats 7-0.

Game #7:  The Encompass vs Combat game was a bit of a "pillow fight" as the teams each hit just 2 homers and scored 15 runs combined in 7 innings.  Early on it was some good defense as Team Combat 2nd baseman Dal Beggs made a nice diving stop in the first inning and they turned a double play in the top of the 3rd.  In the bottom of the 4th Kyle Pearson had a home run overturned (foul) but Combat still led 5-4.  Encompass scored just 1 run in each of the first 5 innings and 2 in the 6th to go up 7-6.  Patrick Ellwanger hitting 2 solo homers.  But Combat managed to tie it 7-7 after 6 innings and Casey Rogowski won the game on a walk off single to right field.

Game #8:  The Illinois/Easton grudge match started with some defense as Precision left fielder Davis Bilardello made a nice sliding catch in the first inning and big Johnathon Williams made a diving stop and throw at third base for Compound Athletics in the bottom of the 2nd.  I say grudge match because a number of players on these two teams play league ball together.  Compound then exploded for 9 runs in the top of the 3rd inning and led 14-5, Zach Messer with a 2 run homer.  In the top of the 4th Lyf Nimmo gave Compound an 18-6 lead with a 3 run homer and Ben Dunn added a 3 run triple to make it 25-6 in the top of the 5th!   Precision kept the game going with 7 runs in the bottom of the 5th but Compounds Kyle Pearson who hit 4 homers in the game hit one into the flags in left field.  Pearson was joined in hitting homers by Brad Lunda, Johnathon Williams, and Matt Vern and Compound shocked Precision 38-18.

Game #9: Smash It Sports out powered 4 The Fallen military team 11-3 as Smash's Ryan Parfitt gave them a 10-5 lead on a 2 run homer in the bottom of the 3rd, Steven Lloyd a 15-5 lead in the 4th on a 3 run homer, and Scott Kirby hit a 2 runner which run ruled Fallen in the 5th.  4 The Fallen did get 2 homers out of shortstop Chuck Garmon who was impressive and two hitter Clayton Shaw was 7-7 in his first two games of the World Series!

Game #10:  #1 seeded Resmondo's first game Wednesday was against fellow Worth team VCH.  Resmondo came out of the gate swinging getting 10 runs on 7 homers in the top of the first inning highlighted by Jimmy Salas's home run over the giant scoreboard wall in center field!  In the top of the 2nd VCH answered with 6 runs of their own as Tom Crump hit a homer of his own over the giant wall!  In the bottom of the 2nd Resmondo's BJ Fulk hit a 3 run homer and they extended their lead to 17-6.  VCH answered with 3 runs on a Kenny Hare home run to trail 17-10.  It was all Resmondo the rest of the way as Greg Connell hit a missile through the flags at the top of the hill in left in the bottom of the 3rd inning and they went on to win 31-11.  Resmondo was led by their lefties with the wind blowing to right field they hit a tournament high (so far) 19 home runs led by BJ Fulk who was 4-4, 2 HR, 6 RBI.

Game #17:  Albicocco jumped all over Backman in their quarterfinal game with 17 runs in the first inning!  Backman would answer with 13 runs in the first two innings but only a Reggie Schulte home run rob could slow down the Albicocco offense that scored 11 more runs in the top of the 3rd inning.  Albicocco led 32-13 going into the bottom of the 3rd.  And Albicocco was frustrating Backman by walking their leadoff hitter and power hitter Ryan Harvey all 5 times he came to the plate.  He did score all 5 times though.  In the bottom of the 3rd Sam Lopez hit a 3 run homer for Backman but that was matched by Shaun Ballard in the top of the 4th and Albicocco led 35-19.  Ballard was 4-4 in the game with 2 home runs and 11 RBI.  In the 5th Albicocco "flip flopped" Backman and Backmans Terry Baggs hit a grand slam to avoid the run rule down by 12.  But Albicocco would hold on to win 48-33, the largest score of any team in the tournament and did so on 12 home runs.  3 by Josh Riley.

Game #18:  Smash It Sports got a grand slam from 2nd baseman Steven Lloyd in the bottom of the 1st inning to take a 4-2 lead on Fence Brokers Inc (FBI).  In the top of the 2nd inning FBI's Mike Cervantes hit a 3 run homer to give FBI a 6-4 lead but Smash It right fielder Mike Umschied robbed FBI of a home run with a leaping catch by the fence to hold the lead to 2.  In the bottom half of the inning Umschied hit a 3 run homer to give them a 12-7 lead.  The Smash It defense continued to hold down FBI with a double play in the top of the 3rd and Umschied collected a 3 run double to give Smash It Sports a 24-13 lead.  In the bottom of the 5th Smash It Sports finished off FBI by the run rule on a Scott Kirby pinch hit homer 28-13.

Game #19:  Thursday night in the quarterfinals Resmondo reached on a number of errors in the top of the 1st inning and Andy Purcell and BJ Fulk each hit 3 run homers to lead Xtreme 6-0.  In the top of the 2nd Xtreme leadoff man Andrew Miller hit a 3 run homer to cut the Resmondo lead to 8-5.  In the bottom of the 2nd Resmondo got big home runs from Jimmy Salas and Nic Santana in a 15 run inning and never looked back winning 23-5 to advance to the final 4.  Bubba Mack was 4-4 with 3 HR and 4 RBI.

Game #20:  An upset minded Compound Athletics team took to the field in game #20 against Team Combat.  Compound separated from Combat in the top of the 2nd when Kyle Pearson hit a 3 run homer in a 13 run inning!  In the middle innings Compound CF Ben Dunn and Combat CF Brian Zirkle traded great catches against the fence but Compound led by 15 runs in the bottom of the 5th when Combats Brian Lipman hit a clutch 2 run homer to keep the game from being a run rule.  Combat also scored 9 runs in the bottom of the 7th to make the final score look closer than it actually was as Compound upset them 29-24.  Compounds Lyf Nimmo hit 2 homers and Kyle Pearson hit 4!

Game #25:  The late semifinal game which started after midnight eastern time Friday night started with Albicocco scoring 11 runs in the top of the 1st inning.  Only 4 runs were earned as Smash It Sports had a tough time gloving it until 3rd baseman Dale Brungardts nice diving stop and throw got them out of the inning.  In the bottom of the 2nd Smash Its Scott Kirby pulled them to within 2 runs with a 3 run homer.  In the top of the 3rd inning Albicocco's Brad Reckart hit a 2 out triple to push Albicoccos lead to 17-11.  Then Smash It backup pitcher and veteran Billy Messina hit a grand slam homer for Smash It Sports in the bottom of the 3rd inning and they got 11 runs to take their first lead 22-18.  In the 4th Albicoccos Josh Riley hit a 3 run homer to tie the game at 22-22 but Smash It Sports had a 9 run inning on a couple of homers and won the game 38-31.  Smash Its Bryson Baker was 6-6 with 4 Homers and 8 RBI.

Game #26:  The first semifinal game Friday night started after a rain delay with upset minded Compound Athletics jumping out to a 9-3 lead as left handed outfielder Brad Lunda hit a big 3 run homer.  Resmondo closed the gap to 9-8 in the 2nd inning when another rain delay halted play for almost 2 hours.  When they resumed it was all Resmondo as they outscored Compound Athletics 21-6 the rest of the way highlighted by grand slam homers from Bubba Mack in the 13 run 3rd inning and a grand slam by Andrew Collins in the 4th.  Resmondo hit 12 homers in the game led by Collins with 3.

Game #29:  In the first game Saturday morning Red's Astros played an Albicocco team that had just finished up losing to Smash It Sports in the winner's bracket semi-finals after 2 AM the previous night.  In the bottom of the 2nd Albicocco continued their offensive surge and solid ball striking as they put up 8 runs to lead 13-4.  In the top of the 5th Albicocco right fielder Sid Stephany ran a long ways on a high pop in towards the infield and made a full out diving catch, one of the best of the tournament!  In the bottom of the 5th Albicocco's Josh Riley hit a 2 run homer to end the game by the run rule 22-7.  Riley was 3-4 with 2 HR and 3 RBI in the game.  Red's Astros did not homer and finished tied for 5th.

Game #30:  In the other 5th place game Saturday morning Compound Athletics jumped out to a 6 run lead in the first and Backman went down in order 1-2-3.  In the 3rd inning a nice relay from Compound center fielder Ben Dunn to the cutoff man got Backmans Reggie Schulte sliding at home plate.  In the top of the 5th inning big John Williams from Compound got a 2 out triple to give them a 9-8 lead and first baseman Kyle Pearson made a nice catch near the tarp to hold Backman down.  In the bottom of the 6th Ryan Harvey and Terry Baggs each blasted 2 run homers to give Backman their first lead 14-12.  In the top of the 7th Compound Athletics who never gave up and substituted their entire vast bench into the game at some point got a 2 out double from Lyf Nimmo down the 3rd base line to tie the game and a double from John Hopkins to take a 15-14.  The inning ended though on a full speed full out diving catch of a nice line drive in center field by Brian Logan – one of the best in the game!  In the bottom of the 7th Backmans Matt Crawford hit a game tying solo homer but Compound got a 4-6-3 double play with the bases loaded to force extra innings.  In extra innings Compound was held scoreless and in the bottom half of the inning Backman middle infielder Orlando Castillo hit a walk off homer OVER the 45 foot high scoreboard in center field to win the game!!!

Game #32:  Albicocco and Backman who both won games in the morning Saturday squared off at 1 PM in the loser's bracket semi-finals.  Albicoccos Sid Stephany and Backmans Sam Lopez traded 3 run homers early on and Albicoccos Lee Payne hit a 3 run inside the park homer in the top of the 2nd to take an 8-5 lead.  In the top of the 3rd inning Backman left fielder Reggie Schulte robbed a home run and teammate Terry Baggs hit a 3 run homer in the bottom half of the inning to keep the Albicocco lead to 1 run.  In the 4th it was the Backman defense again as Schulte threw out Lee Payne on the bases and center fielder Brian Logan robbed another home run.  In the 5th inning the Backman defense and offense finished off Albicocco when right fielder Ryan Harvey robbed a home run and in the bottom of the inning Billy Barrett hit a 3 run homer and Matt Crawford hit a 2 run homer to win by the run rule.  Backmans Terry Baggs and Reggie Schulte were each 5-5 in the game.

Game #31:  The heavyweight battle everyone was anticipating occurred at 3 PM Saturday and will be aired on CBS Sports Network at 8 PM on Monday night September 28th.  The action started in this winner's bracket finals in the top of the 1st inning when Resmondo middle infielder Dennis Rulli made a great diving stop behind the 2nd base bag and beat the runner to 2nd for the 3rd out.  Then in the bottom half Resmondo batted around the lineup scoring 9 runs highlighted by Andrew Collins grand slam!  In the top of the 2nd Smash It Sports center fielder Ryan Parfitt hit a clutch 2 out grand slam of his own and Smash It led 12-9.  In the 3rd inning Smash It plated just 1 run and Resmondo went down 1-2-3 with the game tied at 13-13.  Smash It sports grabbed the lead with a Dale Brungardt 3 run homer in the top of the 4th inning and he hit a grand slam in the top of the 5th to give them a 22-15 advantage.  5 of the runs were unearned.  But Resmondo outscored Smash It Sports down the stretch 11-3 and had a 4 run lead going into the 7th inning where Smash It Sports failed to score and Resmondo advanced as the only undefeated team to the championship game!  Collins had 4 hits, 3 homers and 8 RBI in the win.

Game #33:  The loser's final was an "instant classic"!  Backmans left fielder Reggie Schulte got things going early when he robbed Scott Kirby of a homer.  It was Reggie's 4th home run rob of the tournament.  Then he hit a 3 run homer over the scoreboard to cut the Smash It lead to 3 runs in the top of the 3rd.  Then the momentum went Backmans way when they scored 11 runs in the top of the 4th to take a 19-15 lead.  In the top of the 5th Backmans Ryan Harvey smoked a homer off the flags at the top of the hill in left field, Kevin Kennington went over the scoreboard, and Sam Lopez continued the home run barrage to the tune of 5 straight homers and a 27-20 lead!  In the bottom of the 5th inning Smash It Sports answered with 4 straight solo homers of their own and then 3 straight outs to trail 27-24.  Backman then plated 5 runs in the top of the 6th and 11 runs in the top of the 7th to extend their lead to 43-27 as the crowd got behind their offensive surge to what seemed like an insurmountable lead.  But Smash It with the heart they have shown for years started getting base hits, walks, and home runs and came all the way through the lineup with only 1 out and eventual co-MVP Scott Kirby hit a 2 run homer to tie the game at 43-43.  Smash It had scored 16 runs on just 1 out.  The next two batters however couldn't finish it and the game went to extra innings.  In the bottom of the 8th Smash It needed just 2 to tie and 3 to win and got solo homers from Brungardt and Parfitt and Kevin Bazat hit a walk off double to score Luis Reyna from first base for the incredible 46-45 win, snatching victory from what seemed a certain defeat.  Backmans Ryan Harvey was 7-8 with 5 homers and 12 RBI and Reggie Schulte was 6-7 with 3 homers and 10 RBI in the loss.  And Brett Helmer was 6-7 with 9 RBI and 6 runs scored and Scott Kirby was 6-6 with 5 homers and 9 RBI for Smash It Sports.

Game #34:  The championship game which will also be aired on CBS Sports Network at 10 PM eastern on Monday, September 28th started on Saturday night with Resmondo needing to win one of two.  Resmondo came out of the gates quickly with a 9-5 lead after one inning on 3 run homers by co-MVP Bubba Mack and left fielder Jeremy Yates.  In the 2nd inning the two teams traded 3 run homers by Brian Wegman and Don Dedonatis Jr and Smash It Sports grabbed a lead in the 3rd inning 20-13 as Kirby and Brungardt hit 3 run homers with two outs in a 12 run inning.  In the bottom of the 4th Resmondos Andy Purcell hit a 2 out 3 run homer to give Resmondo a 24-22 lead.  In the 5th Smash Its Parfitt hit a 3 run homer, Resmondos Isenhower made a leaping catch against the right field wall, and Resmondo veteran slugger Howie Krause hit a clutch 2 out 2 run homer and Resmondo led 28-25.  In the top of the 6th Smash It Sports made a bid for a second game as they scored 10 runs on 3 run homers by Kirby and Clark and a 2 run pinch hit single by Kevin Filby but Resmondo answered with a big home run barrage and scored 11 runs to lead 39-35.  In the top of the 7th Smash It could muster only 2 runs and lost 39-37 and Resmondo won their 10th Major World Series title for head sponsor Travis Resmondo and Specialty Tank sponsor John Riccio!  Santana had 4 home runs and Dedonatis and Bubba Mack had 3 home runs each in the game for Resmondo and Scott Kirby had 3 home runs for Smash It Sports.

1st Place Resmondo Specialty Tank/Worth

Conf 'M' from FL  5-0 Record

Resmondo wins their 10th Major title.  They played team ball, made some mistakes, but always made up for them with their hitting.  Their .673 team batting average is probably one of the highest a team has ever had at the Major World Series.  Bubba Mack hit 11 homers.  Nic Santana hit 4 in the last game.  Rulli set the table at the top of the lineup, Connell broke a car windshield in the parking lot I was told.  Krause and Powers hit big homers off the bench and Resmondo put the home field advantage to good use by taking leads on Smash It Sports in the bottom of the 7th in both games and then Andy Purcell really buckled down and threw some nasty pitches in the 7th inning to win…again.  They hit 76 homers in 5 games!

Howie Krause hits a go ahead homer Saturday night!

Purcell homers on opening night

Smash It Sports had tough wins over Albicocco late Friday night and that dramatic come back against Backman on Saturday in the loser's bracket to make it to the championship.  They lost by 1 and 2 runs to Resmondo but of course Resmondo still had the hammer in both games.  In that Backman game Smash It was all but done when they proceeded to score 16 runs (most on 1 out) to tie the game in the bottom of the 7th and won in extra innings.  Kirby was lights out with the bat, and most everyone else was consistent and if you take away the last two innings of each game against Resmondo they played pretty well.  I hear some changes coming for Smash It Sports in 2016.

Kirby and Helmer had big championship games

Scott Kirby ties the game against Backman at 44-44 capping a 16 run bottom of the 7th!

3rd Place – Backman/Shoppe/Louisville Slugger

Conf 'M' from IN  5-2 Record

Backman lost an early game to Albicocco when Albicocco scored 48 runs on them and they couldn't keep pace.  Not much they could do about that one.  In the loser's bracket they won 4 straight games including a nice run rule win over their nemesis Precision and a walk off homer win over Compound hit by Orlando Castillo over the scoreboard.  Then they had Smash It Sports down 16 runs in the 7th and somehow lost…  That was a tough loss, they could have been in the Major finals for the 2nd year in a row.  Hats off to Backman for fighting hard from Cincinnati on.  Schulte was incredible offensively and defensively.  Harvey was a beast.  The team hit a whopping .642 and Terry Baggs had 11 home runs and Harvey had 12 and his was in just 28 at bats because of all the walks.  Great showing by Backman!

Backman center fielder Brian Logan made some incredible diving catches and home run robs on the fence

Backmans Reggie Schulte robbed 4 homers and hit 9 homers.  Definitely could have been Defensive MVP.

John Backman receives the trophy

4th Place – Albicocco/The Scene/Easton

Conf 'A' from NY  3-2 Record

Albicocco had big offensive wins over Racks, Backman, and Reds Astros.  I felt they had at times the most consistent ball striking of any team in the tournament and their .657 team average while averaging just 7 homers a game shows that.  Buckshot pitched most of the time, they scored over 28 runs per game, and Cory Large .773 and Brad Reckart .750 led the way.  The team had more extra base hits than they did singles.  Quality wins and nice way to finish a tumultuous season for these players.  Great hustle and very professional week, they played hard.

Just an FYI for the history buffs, Toni Albicocco has won multiple ASA 'B' Nationals and the WSL 'A' when it had a lot of the top teams.

Sid Stephany led the team in RBI with 24

Josh Riley hit .650 and hit team high 9 HR

Payne had 7 HR

Tied 5th Place – Red's Astros/Louisville Slugger

Conf 'A' from IN  3-2 Record

Reds got tripped up by the 'A' champs FBI in a high scoring opener then had nice wins over 4 The Fallen, Xtreme (whom they had never played before), and Team Combat before scoring just 7 runs in their final loss to Albicocco.  Middle infielders Travis Dale .788 and Troy Krider .688 led the offense along with Brandon Dillon.  Wally Maybrier hit a walk off homer back on Field #5 to beat Xtreme 23-22!

Brandon Dillon was all tournament for Reds

Tied 5th Place – Compound Athletics/Easton

Conf 'B' from IL  2-2 Record

Compound had epic wins over rival Precision and Team Combat in their first two games to make it to the final 4 of the winners bracket.  In that game against Resmondo they were winning early when a lightning delay hit and they never came back with the same energy.  In the loser's bracket they almost pulled off another upset of Backman when they got a double play with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 7th to keep the game tied but lost in extra innings.  Kyle Pearson hit .737 with 8 homer and 19 RBI to show the team the wayand Lyf Nimmo hit .714.  How about pinch hitter John Hopkins 3-3.  What a great first season for Compound Athletics as they finished with a 9-11 record vs the 'A' division, finished 2nd at 'B' Worlds, 2nd at the GSL 'A', and 5th at the major.  Even beat 2 Major teams this year.

Compound got everyone in that last game and they all came through big

Compound middle infielder John Sullivan makes a nice catch

Other top finishing Conference teams

Tied 7th Place – VCH Worth

Conf 'B' from TX  3-2 Record

VCH beat Broughton, OC Swats, and Fence Brokers.  They lost to Resmondo and Backman.  Great weekend to end the season.  Gonzales was playing pepper with the great wall was .778, 7 HR, and 19 RBI

Wes Newell and Isaac Gonzales

Tied 7th Place – Team Combat/Baugh Ford/

Conf 'M' from WA  2-2 Record

Team Combat struggled offensively hitting just .503 as a team.  Frank Yeilding 5 HR, Casey Rogowski 6 HR, and Brian Lipman 3 HR provided most of the power which wasn't enough.  A bad ending to a year that had such great promise back at the Hall of Fame Classic and Las Vegas Majors.

It was great to see Filip Washington back at it after the knee injury at the Conference Championships

Tied 9th Place – Team Racks/Easton

Conf 'A' from WY  2-2 Record

Racks couldn't quite come all the way back against Albicocco in their opener, and sent home Broughton and TG Brand before Team Combat bested them.  Had they beaten Team Combat they would have finished the season with a .500 or better record against each of the top 3 divisions.  If Racks had played their full original schedule and the conference championships they would have had a better draw and possibly a top 5 finish.

Racks LF Nick Price with a nice catch

Tied 9th Place – Precision/Easton/DO

Conf 'A' from IL  1-2 Record

Precision just hasn't played as crisp since the Conference championships.  They still had a great run this year and finished with a Smash It Sports type 53-21 record.  I was hoping to see what they would do at the ASA Super and ASA A but it appears they pulled out of the Super.  🙁

Precision SS Keith Laski has been in beast mode last half of the year.   .786, 6 HR, 12 RBI

Tied 9th Place – Fence Brokers Inc/Buzini/Worth

Conf 'A' from AR  1-2 Record

The 'A' champs from the week before didn't roll over and lose like past World champs at the major.  They fought hard and had some huge innings in their opener against Red's Astros.  Then they lost a game to Smash It Sports they were playing very well in and dropped a game to VCH I'm sure they would rather forget.  Jake Mays hit .750, nice.

Tied 9th Place – Xtreme/Miken

Conf 'A' from MN  1-2 Record

Xtreme dismantled OC Swats, didn't show up against Resmondo, and lost on a walk off homer to Red's Astros back on field #5.  They hit just 12 homers in 3 games.  This team competed well overall this year in their first as an 'A' team and should make the tweaks necessary to fight for the top of the 'A' division in 2016.

Xtreme and Compound had the best chearing sections

Tied 13th Place – Encompass/Eurotech/Easton

Conf 'B' from MN  1-2 Record

Eurotech Auto Repair & Service Center near Minneapolis, MN specializes in foreign auto services including Audi, BMW, Mercedes, VW, and Mini Coopers

Tied 13th Place – 4 The Fallen/JTF/Hawaii

Military 'A' from USA  1-2 Record

Clayton Shaw held down shortstop and batted 1000 (9-9)

Tied 13th Place – TG Brand

Conf 'B' from MN  1-2 Record

TG Brand was 9-9 vs 'A' teams this year and would have been a good 'A' team with just a few tweaks but I hear they are not coming back in 2016.  I want to say thank you to the TG Brand management and sponsorship for their many years in the Conference and committment to the sport.  I hope to see you back in it some day.

Tied 13th Place – OC Swats Doerflinger/Miken/LCP

Conf 'B' from CA  0-2 Record

OC Swats didn't win a game after their 'B' World title.  It doesn't matter though you can't take those rings away from them.  The players on this team would be smart to come back and build on what they have.  But most likely will stray elsewhere and quite possibly never be as good as this team was as a unit.  Best of luck to everyone.

Tied 17th Place – Pure Romance/Foulks Adjusting/Headlines/Easton

Conf 'B' from OH  0-2 Record

Tied 17th Place – Broughton Pharmacy/Bad Draw/Worth

Conf 'B' from NC  0-2 Record
