The Seattle "Dual" Major will start on Thursday night at 6 PM Pacific time with all 28 teams playing at least 1 or 2 games.  The first tournament continues all day Friday with the championship game set for 8:30 PM.  The second dual tournament actually starts while the first one is finishing on Friday night (should probably do this at the Florida Dual as well) and continues all day on Saturday with the championship set for Sunday at 11 AM.

This tournament is played in Kent, Washington and the weather looks like it will be perfect for softball.  The main field (#3) and possibly a second field (#4) will be livestreamed here on SoftballCenter.com!  Field #3 streaming will start with the 7:30 PM game All American Athletics vs West Coast Newbreed and continue with the 9 PM Team Combat followed by Laservision!  Field #4 streaming will start with the 10 AM Friday quarterfinal through the end of the tournament!

Note on Sunday, I leave for an early flight so streaming of the main field Sunday will be done by the director.  I will post a link in the chat room.

Team Breakdown:
28 Teams Overall
  9 Nationwide Conference USSSA Teams
  2 Major Teams
3 'A' Teams (if Combatants is considered an 'A' team?)
10 'B' Teams
10 'C' Teams
  3 'D' Teams

The brackets have a nice group of non-conference 'B' teams with Team Monarch (Higginbotham, Goodman, Goetz), Headcase (VanDaele), All American Athletics (Guillory, Smylie, Susdorf, the Rubin brothers, and a new 'B' team Magz Premier.  Look for Team Combat to push through to the quarter finals in both duals.  In the first dual the 2nd quarter of the bracket has Classic Glass, Sonny's, and Combat/Blockers.  Should be some good matchups there.  In the bottom half of the first bracket OC Swats and 4 The Fallen are set up nice to meet in the quarter finals and Laservision in the bottom of the bracket should easily advance against either All American, West Coast Newbreed, or AZM.  In the 2nd bracket Team Combat only has 'B' teams in their half?  While Laservision will battle 4 the Fallen, Blockers, and Sonny's?

Guest picker Ron Burgandy's Seattle picks:

1st Dual:
1) Laservision
2) Team Combat
3) Combat/Blockers
4) West Coast Newbreed

2nd Dual:
1) Laservision
2) Team Combat
3) West Coast Newbreed
4) Classic Glass

DW's final picks for the Seattle Dual:

Dual #1:
1) Laservision – rolls through this like a hot knife through butter.  Maybe no 7 inning games.
2) Combat/Blockers – team is due for a run, tough road in the top bracket though
3) Team Combat – tripped up by Sonny's, Blockers, or Classic Glass
4) OC Swats – uses a nice spot in the bracket to slip into 4th

Dual #2:
1) Laservision – may play some 7 inning games in this one
2) Team Combat – easy road and best chance to beat Laservision they will have all year
3) Classic Glass – good energy on this team
4) 4 The Fallen – will regroup for 2nd tournament
