The Mississippi Nationwide Conference USSSA event has been moved to Carencro, LA and is the famous Cajun Classic.  56 teams take to the fields on Friday night starting at 6 PM.  More than likely the heavy favorite is Buzini/BWW/Miken who will be challenged by and ASPNation/Dynasty/Reset/Easton team that has made a lot of roster moves recently and a host of 'C' teams from Texas that will try to pull off some upsets.  The top Louisiana teams are LA Classic and SportsCenter/Worth.  And some other threats for a top 4 are JOCO, Old School, Pro Gutter, and Doc's Softball Club.

Team Breakdown:
56 Teams Overall
 5 Nationwide Conference USSSA Teams
 0 Major Teams
2 'A' Teams (if Combatants is considered an 'A' team?)
 1 'B' Teams
15 'C' Teams
38 'D' and 'E' Teams

The weather will be in the 90's and some teams are starting off playing well after midnight on Friday to get all of the games in.  56 teams is an impressive amount.I will go with Buzini in this one with ASPNation second, and Adiktiv and Headhunters fighting for third.  Looks like a nice tournament and much like Portland only the winner is really going to gain points in the Conference standings.

Pelican Park fences are 295-300-295

DW's picks for the Cajun
1 Buzini/BWW/Miken – can do it from the winners or losers bracket
2 ASPNation/Dynasty/Reset/Easton – roster turmoil but still talented
3 SportsCenter/Worth – played well in Conference this year
