Both teams came out flat in the big ESPN3.com broadcast semi-final Friday night as Resmondo led just 8-3 after 5 complete innings. The Resmondo defense kept Demarini in check as center fielder Nick Santana made two diving catches and made some long running catches. Resmondo pulled away with 6 runs in the 6th. Yates and Connell had the only homers for Resmondo and Steven Lloyd had two homers for Demarini.
