The 12th annual Toys 4 Tots tournament takes place in Palm Springs, California this Friday through Sunday, December 7-9.  Softballcenter.com will be there on the 8th and 9th to cover the tournament.  Palm Springs just recently had Verizon 4G installed in their city (according to the coverage map), so doing some broadcasting of the Saturday night home run derby and Sunday main field and finals should be possible.  Stay tuned.

The upper division features the defending champs Fence Brokers with their Resmondo players, the Pit Bulls made up of Southern Californias finest, Nordkap/Suncoast Reebok with their new mix of the top 'A' players in the game, last years runner up 4 The Fallen, and a total of 27 teams spread across 5 flights.

Upper Division Format of the tournament:  5 "flights" of 5 or 6 teams each starting on Saturday morning at 8 AM.  The top 16 teams from the tournament out of 27 go to the Sunday single elimination tournament starting at 8 AM.  The main field is the Fenway Park replica at the Big League Dreams and features the following broadcast schedule:

Saturday: 

 2 PM Wounded Warriors vs Chaos (This is not the actual Wounded Warriors team but it does feature Rusty Bumgardner)
 3 PM Nordkap/Reebok vs Team Major Apparel
 4 PM Pit Bulls vs Famous/Premier
 5 PM B2 Sports vs Adiktiv
 6 PM Vicorty vs FBI

 8-11 PM Home Run Derby
  
All Sunday games on the main field starting at 8 AM with the Championship set for 1 PM will be on the live feed here at softballcenter.com.
 
 Games will most likely be behind schedule both days.  The chat room will also be up throughout Saturday and Sunday.
