2012 Conference USSSA stats procedures (update)

2012 Conference USSSA stats procedures

Each Conference USSSA team will be required to take a picture of their stat sheet for each game played and email it to dw@softballcenter.com.

We will no longer be using the triplicate copy score sheets as 75% of the teams failed to turn them in.

You can use a smart phone, camera, video camera, or scanner (if legible) to accomplish the task of taking a picture of your score sheets.

So please begin emailing the pictures of your score sheets for Vegas as soon as possible.

I have sheets already turned in from:
 West Coast
 Baugh Ford
 OC Swats
 AZM
 SBS
 Laser Vision
 Combat
 D2E
Nordkap (I still need more readable sheets to get doubles and triples off of them)
 Team 454
 Team Demarini
 Sonny's

 4 The Fallen

I still need sheets from:
 Line Drive

Also there are two teams left that have not sent their totals spreadsheet to USSSA for posting, please do that soon.

  Sonny's
  Baugh Ford

All games for all tournaments will be posted in a picasa web album and there will be an album for each tournament. The Vegas sheets that I have are here:

Vegas stat totals are here:
http://www.usssa.com/sports/TournamentPlayerStats.asp?TournID=803797

Teams that do not post their stat sheets and player totals will not be eligible for Conference awards.

Anyone in the world will be able to see each game and any discrepancies that anyone finds should be emailed to dw@softballcenter.com for further research.

Thanks you for your cooperation and send me any questions or concerns that you have.

USSSA will go over this new stats procedure again at the Hall of Fame Classic managers meetings.

——————————————————————————–

Remember an error is scored as on base, and a plate appearance.

A walk is scored as a walk and an on base, a walk, and a plate appearance.

A sacrifice fly is scored an out, and a plate appearance.  No exceptions.

Anyone looking at an individual sheet in the album that can't quite read it because it is too small on your computer, you can:

Click the picture to make it bigger

Right Click on the picture and "save as" to your computer.

Go to the file and right click and "open with" the Paint program where you can resize it to whatever you want.

I made sure I could see all the stat sheets without having to do this but I have a big monitor to view on.
