Great tournament where everyone got to hit 8 homeruns and no time limit. Too bad the dates conflicted with the usa vs. canada games limiting the # of out of town teams. The saturday night atmosphere was nothing like last years with Resmondo and GTL providing the fireworks.

Sonny's blew through the tournament only playing one seven inning game, very impressive team and good guys.

Miken surprised Famous and took second, Famous third and our very own Peak fourth.

The day started with SoCo upsetting the Dukes, and then the Showboats blasting So Dirty by 20.
The other big surprise early was Mush beating Big Ten 24-22.

The next round produced it's first big upset when Renegades defeated conference team DeMarini 22-11. DeMarini did not hit a homerun. WOW!
SCH and Stars played a spirited game with Stars winning 38-27.

Peak scored 28 runs in the first inning to defeat Showboats.

T-13's just avoided being conference upset victim #2 beating Mush 26-25. Great Game!

Miken runned Rival 32-9 while Famous battered EAS 28-2.

Performance beat Junkies by 10.

Meanwhile down in the losers bracket strange things were happening.

Dukes beat Red Rum 21-4 sending the C team home early.
Team Voltage defeated Mafia, not only sending them home, but sending gary over the edge. Mafia has a new team and they all love each other.

The next upset was Styx, fresh off their fun game with Peak sending So Dirty ( another C team ) home. Then quicker then you can say "please re-classify me down" Xrays sends SCH, dare i say it, another C team home. IN SCH's case they went to the Frontier saloon.

DeMarini just eked out a win over Addiction 8-6, crazy things.

Did i mention that Mush then beat Rival, well they did, sending, well you get the picture.

Team Demarini got a new shipment of bat's and beat up Big Ten 31-7.

Back to the winners bracket, Peak was suppose to play DeMarini but Renegades changed that and were beaten by the Orange empire 18-4.

Sonny's continued their winning ways beating Stars 22-5, Star received the all defensive team for limiting Sonny's to only 22 runs.

Miken 15 run ruled T-13's and Famous did the same to Performance.

Sonny's defeated Peak in their only 7 inning game of the day 31-24 to advance to the finals of the winners bracket.

Miken upset Famous 32-17 to get their date with sonny's, which they promptly lost 31-1.

Back to the losers bracket, Renegades, Mush, Truth and performance were all knocked out leaving only 6 teams remaining.

Eas got it's rematch with famous, unfortunately Famous waxed them 23-7.
Peak and Team Demarini meeting for the 2nd time this season with Peak winning 26-16.

Peak then got to play Famous and found out what EAS already knew, Famous can hit, the beat the orange 28-13.
miken beat famous and got killed again by Sonny's.

Heard rumors from people who hopefully know nothing that this tournament may be in jeopordy of not being here next season. Hope that is not the case because it is the best tournament of the year in colorado
