Who are you playing with in 2016?
Bad Draw/ Broughton Pharm/ Worth

What positions do you play and what is your best position?
Any Infield position, except pitching. Shortstop I would have to say is my best.

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Luis Renya has to be the best infielder I've seen. On the offensive end Connell, Fulk, Wegman and Harvey.

Why do you like the game of softball?
The game of softball keeps my competive drive going.

Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
I believe Brian Mays is one of the best up coming players…. The guy has great speed strong arm and can hit it for days.

What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
T-Willie

What is your height and weight?
6'0 230

Where do you call home?
King, North Carolina

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
I'd have to say hanging out by the pool with my friends and family.

What do you do for a living?
I'm a Carpenter. I build custom cabinets for new and remodeled homes.

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
North Stokes and Rockingham Community College

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
I starting by going to hit with some friends at a local field and was asked to play in a church league. I was asked to play with SAL8/SFI/Easton.

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
Definitely the pitching and the defense.

Is there a player that you would compare your game to?
I don't think I play like anyone else other than myself.

What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
I'd have to say winning my first world in WSL in Panama City.

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
BJ Fulk has made the biggest difference in my game….Between BP 2-3 times a week and helping out with game time experience he is the reason I am where I am today.

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Work hard and put in the hours and let your game do the talking instead of your mouth.

What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
A traditional grip with my pinky under the knob. I use a 27oz endloaded bat.

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
I stay in the gym 5-6 days a week. Free weights and basketball.

What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
My Favortie sports teams are the Carolina Panthers, Boston Red Sox and The Charlotte Hornets. My other favorite sports would be basketball and golf.

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
Don't really have any superstitions. I just go with what works each day and don't change.

What would be your "at bat" music selection?
Centuries by Fall Out Boy

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
To find a way to not alter bats.

What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
Probably the Smoky because of the venue that the tourney provides.

What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
Grand Park in Myrtle Beach, SC.  All turf fields.

Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
I'd have to say Subway.

What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
I've seen a guy bat flip Judy and trip over the bat and get thrown out at first!

Tell us something about you that most would never know about you?
Everyone I know pretty much knows everything about me.

What was your favorite sports related gift you have ever given or received?
I'd have to say winning WSL World Series and receiving All World two years in a row in Panama City.
