2009 Columbus Major NIT Part 2
News, notes and pics of other teams in the tournament
Some other teams that I thought were competing well were Pole Position, Detroit's Own, Softball Times, Mobile One and Player's Warehouse. I also think EWS and TCP have great teams. TCP may very well be a top 10 team in the nation by the end of the season, they just need to get more comfortable playing USSSA ball. PRI, Sports 55, and Showcase I think are still a year away.
Pole Position's Aaron Babicz nearly hit me when he lost grip of his bat
Linedrive's Ryan "Gnome" Lyster may be the smallest player I've seen hit bombs

TCP pitcher Lossen White who is also a member of Team USA

TCP picked up leadoff hitter and Conference veteran Rhodney Donaldson

Current Jean Shoppe pitcher Dan Bean takes on former Shoppe pitcher Justin Mucciareli

Detroit's Own pitcher "Cedric the Entertainer" had everyone laughing

TCP's Andy Shiltz displays the hand over hand overlap grip

A big thank you to DSSBats.com, BillPolice.com, USSSALive.com and USSSAToday Magazine for helping me get to this tournament. I am hoping to be in Nashville for the Music City Classic in two weeks.
I am still looking for 3 more $50 per tournament sponsors for anyone that is interested.
