I’m an outfielder, I usually play Center but I can play anywhere in the outfield!

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
The best softball player I’ve seen play and have played with is Westy Guill, he is an all out player and leaves it on the field every game!

Why do you like the game of softball?
Softball to me helps me cope with not playing baseball anymore, I played college baseball and the game was a life saver for me! Anytime I’m in the diamond I know I’m in the right place!

Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
There are so many good players it’s homestly hard to say, although a guy that I enjoy watching play is Kyle Pearson dude just crushes softballs!!!

I don’t really have a nickname most people just call me by my last name!

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
I played basketball and baseball in high school but Baseball has always been my real passion.

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
I got my start in softball playing for a C team call Totem Constuction and Well water solutions, it was definitely my good friends Sean Robison and Chad Campbell who got me started!

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
I haven’t made the jump yet it’s really hard to get noticed playing out of MT and WY, but I’m just looking for a shot to leave it all on the field!

Is there a player that you would compare your game to?
I hate to compare myself to other guys I’d like to say I’m my own player, I will do whatever it takes to help my team win, even if that includes running a wall down to get an out!

What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
We were playing B/C at Mcquades and I robbed a homer up by two to end the and go to the semi-final game!

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
Honestly I’d say my friends Westy Guill and Sean Robison and just having people around as competitive as them helps me to keep pushing myself!

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
I can’t I’m trying to go to he next level! But just in general if I were to give advice to any player trying to make it to the next level it would be to keep plugging away and never stop working to perfect your game! Set a goal and when you get close to achieving it set the bar even higher! Don’t be afraid to work hard! Keeping grinding and you just might surprise yourself.

What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
Baseball style and I usually swing a 26oz bat

I have none

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
It’d be nice to see it on tv more and possibly help more with getting other players noticed! I feel like there are a lot of good players out there just waiting for there shot and never get noticed! Just like how MLB has leagues to help unlocked player get noticed it’d be cool to see someway for guys to get there names out there.

I love mcquades to it just a cool atmosphere with great people!

What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?

I love steak and pasta so anywhere I can get that is a win for me!

What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
The funniest thing I’ve ever seen was at worlds our right fielder was camped under a ball and out of nowhere slipped and fell and the ball dropped in front of him. I was laughing uncontrollably and then the next play I did the exact same thing, karma at its finest

I’m an open book so I couldn’t really tell you!
