It's competitive, fun, and my teammates are my family

My grandfather got me into it when I was 14 playing fast pitch and modified softball. Then a couple of years ago I was playing in a Superdraft tournament with some guys that played upper level in Washington. Afterwards they invited me to play with them (Legend Sports/4 The Fallen) last year in B.

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
The speed and consistency of the players.

I always tried to swing like Hank Garris. Now I have more of a cut swing so I don't know…

Hitting a tournament winning 2-run walk-off at my first Northwest Superdraft.

I think a floating rubber would add a little bit of change for the good. Not only safety wise, but add an challenge for the batter and pitcher.

What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
Although I may be biased from my successes in it, the Northwest Superdraft in Lacey, WA is always a good time. Another good one is Goosetown in Anaconda  MT.

Golden Eagle in Sparks, NV. Six all turf fields with a great restaurant and bar in the middle of it.

Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
Panda Express is usually pretty money.
