My man Tommy Melton for sure, he paved the way for military ball players to make the jump to the conference. He is one of the best infielders I have ever played with. Joe Joe Bennett is going to be in the game a long time also, kid can play any where in the field and hits it very well.

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
The pitching, these guys pitching are there for a reason, I saw knuckleballs my whole career but when they can control it to pitch to their defense, its a big difference.
