Why do you like the game of softball?
Building many new and old friendships and gives me a chance to travel and play at the highest level of Slow pitch.

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
So many to mention but in my area, Dennis Rulli, Matt Pesso and Billy Messina…

What is your nickname in softball?
Most guys call me “Buddy”.

Where do you call home?
Chatsworth, CA

What do you do for a living?
Superintendent for Shapell Homes.

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Yes, Baseball and Football.  Was in Minors with Phillies for 3.5 years.

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
Started playing recreational at 1st but seemed to keep moving up every year.  I got my Start in upper ball in 2010 playing for Famous Sports/Easton.  I want to thank guys like Rodney Munoz, Kenny Rini Sr., Aaron Ingram & John Gilmore for being supportive along the way..   Rodney had me play on teams like No Limit and Victory Custom Athletic locally.  Aaron had me play on teams like Hartzel Dentistry, Famous Sports/Easton and Team Demarini.  In 2012 I played with The Scene.

What position do you play?
Both Corners and some 2nd base and if really needed I can play a little OF.

What batting grip do you use?
Overlap both hands

What ounce bat, make and model do you use?
28oz Easton SCN17BH

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season? 
Take Groundballs, Hit BP and hit the gym a lot.

What is your favorite sports team?
Dodgers, Lakers & Washington Redskins

What is your favorite sport other than softball?
Baseball

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
None

What is your most memorable softball moment?
B Worlds 2010, Famous Sports (runner up)

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
I like it the way it is.

What is your favorite non-World tournament?
Toys for Tots Palm Springs for sure!

What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
We were playing in Colorado last year with Famous Sports, and the umpire blew a couple calls and AJ (Alexander Montano) our shortstop at the time, has a fake eye and he got so mad at the umpire, he took his eye out and tried to hand it to him.  The Umpire was disgust and said, “PUT THAT THING AWAY” lol… was really funny had to be there….

    I’ve worked with Sean at the grocery store back in the day. I’ve never seen him play ball and but I can vouch he is of great character and integrity!
