What positions do you play and what is your best position?
Played 2nd the past few years gonna play 1st this year. Best position would probably be 2nd or OF..

Why do you like the game of softball?
Competitive nature, the speed of the game, and just being around a group of guys who share the same passion about a sport you do.

Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
Blake King(roommate), Jeremy Yates, Brandon Blake, and a kid know one knows about Mike Ragans out of Gainesville.

What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
Langford guess it was easier to say than Scotty..

What is your height and weight?
6ft 210lb

Where do you call home?
Gainesville, Florida

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
With my daughter at her volleyball tournament or playing on the 4wheeler with the family. Sleeping in.

What do you do for a living?
I am a maintenance supervisor for an apartment complex.

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
Started playing locally and just worked hard on my game and eventually was picked up by Westshore then Taylormade last year.

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
The pitching is just that much better.

What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
Drop 2 fingers and overlap my top hand.

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
Rest and recover first then hit and lift

What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
Florida Gators. Football, Basketball, golf

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
Go back to swinging aluminum bats

What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
The Smokys just because of the atmosphere and because it's all you can hit.

What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
Playing infield I would have to say Disney and Fortune Road cause the infields are nice.

Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
Golden Corral if I can find one if not whatever is open

Tell us something about you that most would never know about you?
I'm scared of eating in the dark.

What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
Anything involving Lee Trawick in a pick up tournament.
