Why do you like the game of softball?
Competing with a group of guys who share the common the goal of winning every time we step between the lines, and making life long friends along the way.
Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
There have been so many guys out there that I have seen play, played with, and played against.
Defensively, Matt Pesso. Great hands and makes everything look effortless
Offensively, Rusty Bumgardner.

All Around Brian Wegman He has all the swings, and a great approach at the plate as well as being able to play any position. very fun to watch.
What position do you play?
Infield, mostly second base. I've been trying to get to the outfield or behind the dish, too bad no one ever lets that happen.
Where do you call home?
I grew up in a small town in Northern California called Crescent City. I currently live in Federal Way, WA.
Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Baseball, Wrestling, Basketball, but football was the game I was best at in high school. Played baseball @ College of the Siskiyous. I had quite a few workouts with professional baseball teams, but nothing came of it.
How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
When I was 18, I was asked to play "A" with a very good Smith team out of San Jose, CA. I never really took it too seriously because I was still in college, but found myself getting asked to play with HARAS out of Oregon for a few years. I took that time to learn about the game, and I am thankful the veterans took me under their wing and taught me how to play the right way. I owe the majority of my success to them and my dad.
What is your favorite sports team?
CUBBIES, this is our year!!!

What is your favorite sport other than softball?
College Baseball

What is your favorite bat?
I would have to say the Demarini stadium that came out last year hands down, it's sick. The new demarini Cartel is going to be a great bat as well
Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
I say a short prayer for my friends that were killed in Iraq & Afghanistan. Also, I make sure the batter's box is perfectly smooth before I am ready to hit.
What is your most memorable softball moment?
I have two great moments:
2009 Winning "B" USSSA Worlds with NW COMBAT
After losing our first game @ ASA "C" Western Nationals 2007 to TAI SPORTS, we rallied off 11 consecutive wins to double dip TAI SPORTS in the championship.
Is slow pitch softball a sport or a game?
I think it is both; you play the game during the week for league, but when the weekend comes it's a sport because you are playing against the best competition in the country.
What is your favorite non-World tournament?
King of the Northwest, a great tribute to the late Mike Ford.
What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
When Chris Larsen found a little action figure in Vegas he said, "Goody it looks just like you, and it's life size. You better put it in your bag and keep it forever." That little action figure has been in my bag ever since.
Or anytime Oram, DV, and I are on the field together, something funny is bound to happen.
