ASA Playing History

USSSA Playing History

Why do you like the game of softball?
I love and respect the game.   Just to be able to compete with the best of the best every week makes softball fun for me.

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
There are so many to name but off the top of my head I would have to say Rusty Bumgarner, John Glidewell, Dennis Rulli…….I could go on and on.

What position do you play?
I am a utility player but REAL TALK you couldn't pay me enough money to PITCH  or play 3rd base! lol

Where do you call home?
I'm originally from a small town just 10 miles west of Corpus Christi called Robstown,Tx.   I call Dallas Ft. Worth my home now.

What do you do for a living?
I am an orthopedic therapist.

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
I played every sport offered in school but like to think I'm a SANDLOT player!!!

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
My coach and friend Micheal Wilson asked me to fill in at the 2009 ASA A world tourny in Oklahoma City for Fencebrokers Inc.   We placed second and Chris Walker gave me the opportunity to play the 2010 season with Fencebrokers.

What batting grip do you use?
I use a baseball grip with my pinky on the knob.

Team USA

Baseball and Football

I have this thing when I get a new stick I give them names.

What is your most memorable softball moment?
It would have to be finishing 3rd place at the 2010 Major World Series as a B team.

Is slowpitch softball a sport or a game?
I think its both.   If there is a championship to win then its a sport.   If your out there having fun then its a game.

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
I think by spreading out the major players and the bat situation.

What is your favorite non-World tournament?
The McQaude in North Dakota

What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
We were at the Smokey this yr and Johnny G(Glidewell) missed a slow line drive and about 3 ground balls.   He came back to our dug out saying all he could see was bugs everywhere.   We all looked at each other n busted out laughing.

Who are you playing with in 2011?
Gas It/Lewis Lawn Service/Easton
