What positions do you play and what is your best position?
Middle infielder/OF. Best position would be the "5 man"

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Best player that I've seen personally is JD Matthews. Most athletic dood I've seen on the softball field.

Why do you like the game of softball?
The best part of playing softball is being a part of a team sport. There's nothing like being a part of the brotherhood where you know that every member is going to push each other to become great. To me, building that strong bond between teammates has a more lasting impact than winning any individual title or championship. Ever since I started playing Softball two years ago, I made it a goal to make it to the highest level, and so here I am trying to get there.

Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
Zachary Pierre. Humble dood who has wheels, a cannon and is the best OF I've played against.

What is your height and weight?
6'1" 225lbs

Where do you call home?
Lawton, Oklahoma

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
Golf, working out, spending time with the wife and newborn son, and reading.

What do you do for a living?
Army officer stationed at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Played high school and college tennis

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
In 2016, when I was stationed at Ft. Hood, TX, I was playing in a wood bat baseball league. One day I was working out at the batting cage and one of the Hood post team members saw me and invited me to come over. After experiencing Military Worlds last season, I started setting my sights towards playing at the conference level. When I moved to Oklahoma earlier this year, I ran across John McGavic, who encouraged me to drop my resume here.

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
Ashley Baker, Head Coach of the Ft. Hood post team. When I first started playing I was a predictable pull hitter who would swing for the fences the majority of the time. He helped me transition my game into an all around player who's aware of the game situation and can also hit any spot in the field along with knowing when to go yard.

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Stay humble and grind. When your opportunity comes, your preparation will either set you up for success or failure.

What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
Normal grip with the pinky off the cap. 27oz

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
Calisthenics, sprints, plenty of BP and play in local tournaments and leagues.

Favorite college teams: FSU/Army (Alma Mater)
NFL: Denver Broncos
MLB: Atlanta Braves

Favorite sport: Football

What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
Big League Dreams facility at Mansfield, TX. Love playing in turf fields.

Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
Buffalo Wild Wings

What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
Ump doing the whip while calling a batter out on strikes
