 Wh y do you like the game of softball?
love the competition, traveling, and seeing everybody that i have met over the years

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
i dont think he is the best, but loved watching Nick Inboden and the effort he brought to the game while i was new to the game.  todays players are pretty amazing, to much talent to single out 1 player.

What is your nickname in softball?
dancingbear, some lady in the stands in toledo was razzing me many moons ago saying that if you put a pink too too on me i would look like a dancingbear. and it just kinda stuck.

Where do you call home?
blacklick, ohio   columbus suburb

What do you do for a living?
drive a semi, locally..

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
3 sports in high school, football,basketball,and baseball.

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
My brother in law used to play alot and i went to watch him while i was still playing baseball.  His team only had 10 that day and 1 guy got hurt, so i filled in.  Played with columbus pipe early on, then with creative stucco, some leagues with jeff hague, then onto kvb/sidewinders, and now back with cols pipe. some unbelievable sponors in that group.  thanks guys

What position do you play?
pitcher

What batting grip do you use?
1 pinky off, and pointer finger and other pinky over lapped like on golf club

What ounce bat, make and model do you use?
27 ounce, and eastons at the moment

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
eat, hit with filby and the boys. eat a little more. eliptical as season gets close

What is your favorite sports team? 
ohio state buckeyes

What is your favorite sport other than softball?
nfl , and college basketball

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
no, but have played with alot of you quacks, who have alot of em

What is your most memorable softball moment?
6 world titles, and lasting long enough to play with my son. won't ever forget that.

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
regionalize the game a little more, less major players per team to level the field.

What is your favorite non-World tournament?
dudley, smokys, corkys was cool

What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
At the time our game against The Scene in the Cincy major wasn't very funny but the video that my teamate matt reed put together about wilson and myself was priceless.
