Played with west coast dynasty (ASA National Champs) in 2009, Desert falls in 2010 and finished the year on R&M Metals/Easton for the major world

Why do you like the game of softball?
It's been keeping me active since college, and for the relationships created.

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Brian Wegman, Bryson Baker and Dennis Rulli...all can play anywhere plus hit for power and average

What is your nickname in softball?
C-Dub and Cliffy are the main ones

Where do you call home?
Bakersfield, CA...don't laugh

What do you do for a living?
My dad owns a civil engineering company where I work in the field

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Football and Baseball in high school, then just baseball at my local Jr. college

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
I've been watching local guys like John Keigley, Kevin Arriola, Robbie Robinson and Mike Moore since I was born and I've always wanted to become great players like them and get to the top.
I played E for a couple years then Elite gave me a shot on an D team from So Cal.  After that it was B and C throughout northern and southern Cali till I got a chance with Desert Falls in 2010

What position do you play?
I play SS, 5 man and 2nd base...outfield if I absolutely had too

What batting grip do you use?
Standard baseball grip

What is your favorite sports team?
San Diego Chargers and Texas Rangers

What is your favorite sport other than softball?
Football, I love baseball but its so boring to watch...I feel sorry for making my parents go to all my games growing up, lol

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
Being a ball player I obviously have a few, but my main one is what I do before I step into the batters box (kinda David Ortiz like) but it works for me

What is your most memorable softball moment?
Winning the ASA Western C Nationals then a month later winning the ASA C Nationals in Oklahoma City in 2009

Is slowpitch softball a sport or a game?
A sport for sure.   If there wasn't so much hard work being put in day in and day out then you could say its a game.

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
More conference tourneys out in the west coast

What is your favorite non-World tournament?
Toys 4 Tots in Palm Springs for sure

What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
This year at major worlds I was a pick up on R&M Metals, so the first inning of our first game I'm sitting there and all of a sudden guys start chirping "woo woo woo" "gimmiedat" "dat dat", I was like WTF are these weirdos doing, lol
