Who are you playing with in 2012?
A local Minnesota B team

Why do you like the game of softball?
It keeps me competitive and the friendships I’ve made.

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Bryson Baker and I love watching Pesso play defense.

Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
Two guys I played with last year on MidWest Swing.  Ricky Potter and Cody Gilbert, both are young and can flat out play.  And I can’t forget my boy Andy Vitcak, the kid works as hard as anyone and he just wins.

What is your nickname in softball?
Rook

Where do you call home?
Stillwater, Mn

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
Anything with my 2 daughters.

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
High School baseball

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
I started playing softball at 17 with a local C team and then last year I was lucky enough to have an offer from Todd Mazzier from MidWest Swing.  Todd was amazing to me and I owe him big time for the opportunity.

What was the best advice you were ever given?
Play every game as if it were your last.

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Work hard, play hard and respect the game.

What position do you play?
Pitcher

What ounce bat do you use?
26oz

What is your favorite sports team?
Minnesota Twins and Minnesota Vikings

What is your favorite sport other than softball?
Baseball and football

What is your most memorable softball moment?
My first weekend playing in the conference last year at the dual in Florida.  Beating teams like Combat Pharmapar and 454 on the way to a 4th place finish for my first tourney with MidWest.  Just playing against Resmondo and Laservision in the Stadium was a huge rush.

What would be your "at bat" music selection?
Lil Wayne – Go DJ

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
Floating rubber and controlling the bats somehow.

What is your favorite non-World tournament?
The Dudley

What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
My boy Scotty Eischens throwing up all over the field during C worlds.  He was so sick and hurt and he still out hit everyone on our squad.  Scotty Worlds!!!
