Why do you like the game of softball?
It feeds my competitive hunger and it allow me to meet some wonderful people the few years I have been playing this game.  And the traveling every weekend is not bad…
 
Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
 To name a few best leader would be Earl (Squirrel) Bryant, best glove would be T Mack and power hitter would be Greg Connell.

Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
 Chivas Clark and Shawn Greer both of them can hit it, and Larkin Grant gives you 200% on every play…
 
What is your nickname in softball?
 Some call me Key or Hack (because I will swing at almost anything)
 
Where do you call home?
 Macon, GA
 
What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
 Spending time with my family.

What do you do for a living?
 I am a Supervisor for GEICO insurance.
 
Did you play sports in High School/College/Pro?
 Played Football, Basketball and Baseball in High School and played Wide Receiver at Valdosta State University (2003 DII National Champs)
 
How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
 Started playing league ball for my job and was asked to play with a team called EP Roberts Bad Boy on the black circuit and got hooked.  Played with a team call SOS softball out of Atlanta and we had a good little run at the Peach State in 2010.  That gave me a chance to pick up with Primetime/Easton in 2011 when the coach Tony Goodson saw me play.  Now I am hooked and looking forward to playing with them this year again on the big stage…
 
What was the best advice you were ever given?
 Play hard on ever play because something a play as simple as cutting off a ball in the gap can help the team turn a DP…
 
What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
 Play at 110% on every play because you never know who is watching and willing to give you a chance.  And play a lot of pick up tourneys like the Boone and Rose.

 26oz
 
What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
 Hit about twice a week and playing a lot of one pitch and pick up in the area.  This year I am going to do a lot of run because that outfield on those big fields are a monster.

What is your favorite sports team?
 UGA Bulldogs(NEVER) I am a Florida Gators Fan
 
What is your favorite sport other than softball?
 Football

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
 none that I am aware of…
 
What is your most memorable softball moment?
 Have not been playing that long but the semi run we had at the Peach State this past year beating Jean Shoppe and Suncoast/Reebok in back to back games. Shocked a few people.
 
What would be your "at bat" music selection?
 Kanye West "Monster" or Mystikal "Here I Go"
 
What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
 Giving more opportunities to African American players and sponsorships to more BSC teams.
 
What is your favorite non-World tournament?
 BSC Southeastern Kick off Classic.  The atmosphere is great over 200 teams with Willie Brown (formally of Jean Shoppe and head baseball coach at Florida A & M University} DJ-ing music all weekend long.  And also the Dual Event in Kissimmee all the big conference teams are there…
 
What is the best softball field you have played at and why?
 Disney, because of the grass infields and to hit one you have to have true power…
 
Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
 TGIF

What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
 A teammate of mine was running the bases and they told him to go three and get down, when he slid it was not a pretty site just knowing he did not want to get down and had to leave the field after.  And being in the dugout with Ronald "peanut" Grace is always a comedy show.
