Why do you like the game of softball?
Gives me the chance to play agianst the best players in the country. Also meet many good friends through softball.

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Best Overall: Jason Kendrick he gives %100 percent every play no matter at the major world series or some backyard tourney. also Don DeDonatis Jr. guy is a game changer and winner.
Best Hitters: Greg Connell,Brett Helmer,Tim Cocco
Best Team mate: Joel Ramos guy wants to win,and win at any cost!!

What position do you play?
Mostly OF and 1B

Where do you call home?
Moultrie,Ga in  the woods!   With my wife Shianna and 1 year old son Jacobi

What do you do for a living?
I work at Colquitt Regional Medical Center here in town as a plumbers/electrician

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Basketball and Baseball in High School, Baseball in College

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
first started in the black circuit with Young Guns from Ga.   Moved on to Team Xtreme/Connell Electric for awhile in C ball.   Then the winter of 08 Jr. and Connell asked me to play some winter nationals with them.   While playing Pete Campbell of AJS started watching me.   Lastly our biggest non-conference tourney down here is The Rose, while playing pete asked jason kendrick about me and the rest is history.   Thanks to Kendrick,Connell,Jr and Pete for the chance

Describe what it is like to get a hit at the Major World Series?
Its very humbling experience because everything becomes a factor in the stadium.   After your first hit you can almost feel the weight off you shoulders.

What batting grip do you use?
two fingers off the bottom with my index and pinky locked

What is your favorite sports team?
Atlanta Braves and Any team from the South!

What is your favorite sport other than softball?
Baseball, Basketball and football

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
Yes to many to name the main three are.   My grandfather Buddy Mercer(greatest man i know) gave me his ring he wore for over 40 years and i wear it around my neck every game i play!   The second is i always pray and thank God for the opportunity and ability to play a game i love so much.   Lastly this year at AJS/Mike Foulks  B worlds run i brought out my good luck underwear.   I wore this thing since 9th grade in every baseball game i have played in...yes i washed them.   So i wore them the entire tournament and we won! But i did retire them that weekend because they were so tore they fall off and apart lol.

What is your most memorable softball moment?
This year at B worlds we were down in the undefeated game 24 runs and we came back to win the game and worlds!
My personal most memorable was in the same game at b worlds i hit a grand slam and two run double in the same inning.

Is slowpitch softball a sport or a game?
Sport no doubt, the amount of work and time you gotta put in makes it a sport

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
Try to get more televised events

What is your favorite non-World tournament?
Smokies, and The Rose

What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
At worlds last year sitting watching dan smith-resmondo game and listening to all the fans with the "i can hit it that far","wish i had them bats" or "they get all the calls" then after the game they are all over both teams

I would like the thank my wife Shianna for all the suppport to allow me to play.   Brett Helmer for all the help a person could ask for.  Lastly my uncle Donald for pitching bp all the time for me.

Also like to thank Dr.Thornton at Moultrie Eye Center for getting my eyes dialed in so i can see WAY better!
