Why do you like the game of softball?
The competition It is very competitive

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Brett Helmer, Brian Wegman, Rusty Bumgardner, Johnny McCraw, Jeff Wallace, Andy Purcell and Jeff Hall.   Also Greg Brown who taught me everything I know about softball.

3rd base and 2nd base

What do you do for a living?
I am a Resource Officer at a High School and I am also the Head Lacrosse Coach, Assistant Basketball Coach and Strength Coach.

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Football, Basketball and Lacrosse. I also played football at Duquesne University

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
After college  I started playing in a church league and I got picked up by a local team called Baltimore Warriors they was playing class B in the state of MD then guys started to retire year after year because of kids, age, family etc then I played on some local C teams because there was no more class B teams in the state of MD, we won a few states in ISA,USSSA then the class B team called me which was Angle Inn Easton out of MD asked me to come play with them in 2008 and I played in conference usssa made all conference and wow thats where the best players play at bottomline and from there I been playing upper level softball since 2008.....

What batting grip do you use?  What ounce bat?  What was your favorite bat of alltime?
I use the Overlap Grip, 26oz bat.  My favorite bat of all time is the original Easton Cnt.

What is your favorite sports team?
Baltimore Ravens wow.

What is your favorite sport other than softball?
Football and  Lacrosse

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
Before I go to the plate I swing the bat 3 times towards the 3rd base line and once I get in the box I dig in with my left foot 3 times then smack my chest and get locked and loaded.   I have to put the left batting glove on first then I  have to turn my straps on the batting gloves inside out then strap the Velcro.

What is your most memorable softball moment?
Coming in 2nd place in the usssa b worlds

Is slowpitch softball a sport or a game?
Both

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
Balancing out the Major players on each team

What is your favorite non-World tournament?
The Sunfest in Ocean City MD
