Who are you playing with in 2012?
Dirty Sports/Miken/3N2
Why do you like the game of softball?
The competition and friendships I've made over the years.
Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
There are so many great ones you can't list just one. The 2 best all around players in todays game in my opinion are Bryson Baker and Brian Wegman. Jason Kendrick is a guy I would tell young players to model themselves after (great teammate, super intense and refuses to lose even in a local backyard tourney). Todd Martin and Doug Roberson are also a couple of guys I grew up watching that were great.
Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
Andrew Collins - Guy is 24 yrs old and wise beyond his years in softball. And he kills it.
Steven Lloyd - Cause he's got more talent in his pinky toe then I'll ever have. He has all the tools if he decides he wants to play at this level.

What was the best advice you were ever given?
Never stop improving. As a player or as a person.
What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Up 20 or down 20 play like its a one run game. You never know who is watching and might give you the chance to move up and play.

OF

What would be your "at bat" music selection?
Crazy Train - Ozzy Osbourne
What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
Aluminum, Aluminum, Aluminum with rolled end caps (Powerdome Style) !! Problem with that is you would lose half the teams in the country. But would save USSSA a lot of money in garbage cans !!!

Disney but any of the field of dreams complexes are a close 2nd

The video the guy made of the fight between Steve Wilson (no relation) and Dancing Bear in Cincy the year I played with the Scene was priceless !!
That was this video, too bad I didn't have the video working a little sooner!

Tempers flared when a middle war broke out in the Albicocco vs MidwestCoast game. The Dancing Bear was egging on the Albicocco team who blasted 3 consecutive shots up the box. On the third shot the Bear shot back and threw the ball at the runner (I think it was Steve Wilson) and hit him clearing the benches and ending the game.
