What positions do you play and what is your best position?
I will play any position, play CF and SS

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
It's hard to watch wegs play and not think he's at the top of the list

Why do you like the game of softball?
Much more fast pace than baseball, it's a hitters game

Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
Have to say Dale Brungardt, great hitter great fielder and a good teammate

6-1 195

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
Any free time I have is spent with family and friends!

What do you do for a living?
I am a hitting instructor

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Played baseball and basketball in high school, went to Iowa western ad South Carolina Aiken for baseball

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
Started as a fill in player for nationals and won asa "c" my first year then got to play for R&M TCP Pipac for coach Humphries

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
The consistency of the play, not as many errors and balls being hit a lot harder consistently!

What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
Playing with Rip City on CBS was a pretty cool experience

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
Just being around the top players a lot and watching them play is a constant reminder that you cannot take time off, you must keep working!

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Set a high goal and don't stop till you teach it!

What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
I use both straight up and over lapping depending on what I'm trying to do with the ball!

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
Working at a hitting facility lets me hit and field on a daily basis.

What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
Die hard chicago bulls fan!

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
Not letting guys switch teams 10 times a year

What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
I'm a big fan of the asa Fireman's and Corkys tournaments, also the Smokys is a blast!

What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
Easily Brick Town in OKC, where the asa super was just played
