Northwest Venom a team of deaf players looking for sponsorship for 2012
The Northwest Venom softball team consists of deaf players from the age of 21 to 50 yrs of age. I have hand Selected this team for their contributions on and off the Field. It is a mixture of good offensive skills and solid Defensive play, along with on the field sportsmanship. These players were also selected for their high level of Character and dedication to the team. These players Have all agreed to put forth the time and effort required to become "WORLD CHAMPIONS". Team practices have been scheduled.
All of our players are held to the highest standard when it comes to representing the Team, our sponsor, and our community. As the owner/manager of the Northwest Venom, I am requesting the financial assistance with the cost associated with this traveling men's softball team. It is our team's goal to Compete in and win the Men's Deaf World Series in Las Vegas, Nevada. We as a team will be matching your investment, by each team Member giving from their own pockets or raising $150.00 per person. This money will go towards our uniforms, traveling, etc. Hopefully This will show a "SERIOUS" commitment on our part and will help You to see just how much we appreciate your good gesture. Also, as a team, we know that everywhere we travel, and everywhere we play, it will be a reflection on our team. With that being said the players on this team will represent Northwest Venom with the utmost class. Guaranteed!!
I'm sure you are asking yourself this very Question Why should I waste my money on A group of deaf guys for softball? Here's your answer, We have been a traveling Softball team coming into our 2nd year. Our first year We have paid our own way and covered almost Every single bit of our expenses other than small Donations from Demarini and we came out on top 5 in the nation and we were unable to showcase our team at nationals due to funds. So trust me when I tell you this.... We will cherish every single penny Also, we will be matching your investment as previously stated, just to show your how Dedicated we are to this investment.
We all Know times are tough and that's why we will be More than cautious when representing your organization. Almost all of our tournaments will be played in Our market area. Area's of travel include, but not Limited to mostly in Washington and Oregon. So roughly 80% of our Tournaments will be played within our market. Our Out-of-state tournaments will consist of deaf regional's championship (Fremont, CA), National championship for the deaf (Las Vegas, NV).
We will start off our season in Washington for the King of the Northwest in January. We will be asking for $5,000.00. This will cover us for the 12'Season. There will be a bank account set up in the teams name with Only two people authorized to write checks. All receipts will be filed accordingly and returned to you at the end of the season For your tax purposes. There will be strict and factual books kept on this account. Also, we can provide a tax id number if needed. On behalf of our entire team, I would just like to thank you for even considering this Investment. We know that times are tough, but at the same time we understand that you have to spend money to make money. We know that you Have a soft spot for sports and that this will end up being as fun for you as it is us. We want Northwest Venom to represent the northwest throughout the nation and we're ready to make the Commitment if you are. Let's get the ball rolling and start a amazing year together. Thanks for your time and I hope this was as enjoyable for you as it was for me....
Thank you,
LaDon Battle
