What positions do you play and what is your best position?
Can play anywhere on the infield, but would have to say 3rd is my best.

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Steven Lloyd dude makes some insane plays and make it look easy, was fun getting to play with him at the ASA A this year. Dale Brungardt dude smashes and of course Brian Wegman and Bryson Baker both can do it all.

Why do you like the game of softball?
Fills my competitive nature after I got done playing college baseball.

Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
Got to give my BP and lifting partner Blake Johnston some love kid can hit it a mile  and has a cannon in the outfield. My boy Timmy Martinez can hit it with the best of them.

What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
Fox and have been called that since I was a kid

What is your height and weight?
6'4 and 260

Where do you call home?
Yuma, Arizona

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
Hanging out with my family, fishing or out hunting.

What do you do for a living?
Work for Juvenile Probation Department

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Played football and basketball for 2 years in high school and 4 years of baseball. Played 2 years at a Jr. College and 2 years a D II school for baseball

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
In 2014 I played with AZM and played against OC Swats and my boy AJ asked me the following year if I would like to play and have been with them the past 2 years.

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
The speed of the game and everyone is good on both sides

Is there a player that you would compare your game to?
No.

What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
My career highlight has to be this year hitting a walk off to win B worlds knocking in my boy Caezar Camarillo and having my wife in the stands cheering at the top of her lungs.

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
I would have to say my Uncle Russ he always told me to never be satisfied and always give it all you have

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Don't think this game owes you anything, play hard all the time and be a good team player.

What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
Drop pinky and full overlap. 28.5 Future

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
Well living in the Yuma we do not have a off season, but I lift 5 days a week and hit BP and take ground balls 2-4 times a week, I also play in some local tournaments nothing like playing at home with your boys.

What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
Baseball Atlanta Braves
Football San Diego Chargers

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
Too many to name. I draw a "E" and "P" outside the box before every at bat for my son and daughter that passed away.

What would be your "at bat" music selection?
Volbeat A Warriors Call

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
Consistency with the bat testers and keep the home run limit the same across the conference.

What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
Toys 4 Tots in Palm Springs and Memorial Day 16" tournament in Yuma

What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
Disney

Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
Anywhere with wings and I am good

What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
Playing with AJ for a year there are too many to name with him.

What was your favorite sports related gift you have ever given or received?
Best gift I have received were autograph Chipper Jones bat and picture from my sister in law and best gift I have given would have to be a glove.

    Never met this dude but I’ve seen him play. Carries himself well and smashes. I feel he plays the game with respect and is humble. This dude is a beast. Watch out for him in the near future. If you don’t know him you will soon enough. Good luck and best wishes man.
