Who are you playing with in 2015?
Looking for a team – Marcus_34@hotmail.com

What positions do you play and what is your best position?
I'm an infielder. Have played SS my whole life. Some 2B with ASP.

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Wegman Plays the game the right way and hustles.

Why do you like the game of softball?
Keeps me active and let's me continue to compete and be on a  baseball/softball diamond where I have always loved to be.

What is your height and weight?
5'9 185

Where do you call home?
Houston, Texas

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
On the lake with my family.

What do you do for a living?
Salesmen with miller lite

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Played all four yrs of high school and college and played 3 yrs professionally

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
Had a group of buddies from east Texas ask me to play some league and it progressed from there.

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
Talent level across the field. Makes you not wanna play local tournaments as much

What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
Well getting 2nd at Worlds out of 96 teams was great. Sucks not winning but still a hell of a tournament

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
Would have to say coach Tim Barnes and Chris Potts along with Lyf Nimmo and the Asp family. Without Tim and Potts getting me an opportunity and Lyf allowing me to be apart of ASP I'm not sure where I'd be with my softball career.

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Never be to proud to take BP and think it's all easy because it's under handed

What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
Line knuckles up and 26oz.

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
Try to continue to hit as much as weather permits. Which in TX our winters usually aren't to bad.

What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
Dallas cowboys and an Astros fan.

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
Tap the plate 3 times every at bat and say thank you god.

What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
I played the Tripp Roth tournament this year and really enjoyed it. Nice atmosphere with good competition and was for a great cause.

What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
Disney and South Carolina. Disneys obviously well maintained and South Carolina is all turf. Soth carolin has a great set up.

What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
Lyf Nimmo throwing a bat at WSL and hitting our coach Tim Barnes in the back. Was funny for us but not coach. Was also the quietest our dug out has ever been at the same time.
