Why do you like the game of softball?
The competitive nature of the game.  There is no one that hates losing more than I do.   Drinking a few beers and hanging out with all the guys.

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
 Hitting: Brett Helmer and Denny Crine
 Defensively: Todd Joerling and Scott Roen
 Overall: Wegs and Baker

What position do you play?
Pitcher.   I do miss diving in the outfield though.

What is your nickname?
STEVE or Ldub.

Where do you call home?
Omaha, NE

What do you do for a living?
Insurance Adjuster

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Football, basketball, golf in High School.   Baseball in college at University of Nebraska-Kearney.

 Ho w did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level.
Just playing with friends in Western and Central NE.   Played in the ASA A in Ok City.

What batting grip do you use?  What ounce bat?  What was your favorite bat of alltime? Regular grip. 27ounce.

What is your favorite sports team?
Denver Broncos, Kansas City Royals, Avalanche
Of course the NE Cornhuskers.

What is your favorite sport other than softball?

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
Not really.

What is your most memorable softball moment?
Playing in the USA game against Canada.  It was great and love what they are trying to do for the game.

Is slowpitch softball a sport or a game?

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
Go back to aluminum or wood bats.   I can't stand all the cheating.   Technology is ruining softball.

 What is your favorite non-World tournament?
 Firemans, Dudley, and McQuades.
