Why do you like the game of softball?
It allows me to travel and compete against some very talented players.

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Too many could be talked about here.. If I have to give props its to my infield for GTL last year….

What position do you play?
Pitcher

Where do you call home?
Grand Prairie, Texas

What do you do for a living?
Rent and Lease commercials vehicles for Salem Truck Leasing

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Played basketball and baseball in High School

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
I spent about 5 years with the Texas Regulators and about 4 years ago they gave me the opportunity to start pitching.  I have to admit the first couple years I struggled and our coach, Buddy, always made sure to tell me that I never would make it.  Then 2 years ago my good friend, Steve Whaley, convinced me to finally leave the Regulators to play conference ball for Woodlaw.  With Woodlaw we played well against some of the best teams in the country which happen to get me a chance with GTL last year and the rest has been history.  I must admit I have been pretty luck the last few years, hard to play for better sponsors than Pete(Regulators), Doug(Woodlaw) and Donnie/Charles(GTL).  I will always be very appreciative to those sponsors.. For my buddy Robert Go Spurs!!!

What batting grip do you use?
Knob through the pinky with a slight over gripe

What is your favorite sports team?
Dallas Cowboys

What is your favorite sport other than softball?
Golf

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
I use the same routine when I get in the box everytime

What is your most memorable softball moment?
Winning A world last year.. Honestly have to say, I had the time of a my life that Sunday.  I believe those were the best 2 games I have ever been apart of, Laservision gave us HELL…

Is slowpitch softball a sport or a game?
Sport without a doubt.  If it was a game then people wouldn't devote the amount of time it takes to prepare all year long.  People spend alot of time away from their families and if your like me you spend all your vacation time just to travel to play.

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
The bat testing was an improvement this year for the most part, except their are no penalities for swinging a altered bat… If we are going to test then people need to be held accountable.

What is your favorite non-World tournament?
Snoball tournament in Denison, Texas or The Dudley

What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
Has to be our whole weekend in Seattle last year.  Between games majority of our GTL teams was taking infield opposite handed, needless to say none of them will be changing anytime soon.  Also when Rogers and Devo came walking up to BP about 30 minutes late wearing the wrong hat and our whole team started shouting "Wrong Hat, Wrong Hat."  Thanks Bowlin for that memory..
