What positions do you play and what is your best position?
I can play anywhere in the outfield. Usually play CF or RF.

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Tim Howard, Flip Washington, Nic Santana

Why do you like the game of softball?
I can satisfy my competitive hunger and just the family atmosphere the game brings.

Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
Adam Ussery, Cory Briggs, Brian Bryles. All three are young and hungry. Play the game the right way.

What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
Bob Swagg. I was playing outfield and threw a guy out at 2nd base, and my brother says "you sniped him just like Bob Lee Swagger". But he ended up shortening it up.

What is your height and weight?
6'2 185

Where do you call home?
Malvern, Arkansas

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
I have 2 little boys. I spend as much time as I can when I'm not playing ball.

What do you do for a living?
I'm a manager for AT&T in a call center.

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Played football and baseball.

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
I started by playing in a local coed tournament and a buddy of mine told me how they have all men tournaments as well. Went all the way from E to C class in about 3 years or so. Played a few conference tournaments with Arkansas Mayhem last year, then got my opportunity with Fencebrokers this year.

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
Just the balls that are hit to the outfield are unreal. You don't see many flyballs.

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
I'm going to answer for all 3. Player would be Tim Howard/Stuart Snell/Zach Keene  both told me to always hustle, play the game the right way because you never know who is watching. Manager would be Chris Walker, he explained to me how batting averages can be a little overrated. Coach would be Mookie Wilson, helped me tremendously with having an approach to my game.

What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
One pinky off, 25 oz.

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
Love it how it is.
