What positions do you play and what is your best position?
anywhere in the OF. But center is my best

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Haven`t been around long, but I would have to say Bryson Baker.

Why do you like the game of softball?
Gives the the chance to go out and have fun. I`m like a kid in a candy store out there playing.

Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
Haven`t been around long enough, but I`m sure everyone has an opinion on who is up and coming.

What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
Not many things have really stuck, but I was called pipes after the Major because of my walkup song lol

What is your height and weight?
5`8 205

Where do you call home?
San Antonio, TX originally from Beaumont which is an hour outside Houston.

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
relax and kick back. But I`m usually playing somewhere.

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Played football and baseball in college.

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
Got my start with Jon Kilburn with Vivid in 2012. And he and Rob Whitehouse gave the me chance to come back and help VCH in the B, A, and the MWS this year.

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
the hitting, defense, and teamwork. definitely a humbling experience and helps you prepare better.

Is there a player that you would compare your game to?
Dennis Rulli comes close. But I`m sure people can make a opinion if they have seen me play.

What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
Just playing in the MWS. It made me try and bring my A game every game.

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
There have been many. I take anyones advice and see if it helps my game. I always can learn.

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
From what I have heard. Just keep playing and things will fall where they may.

What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
26 EL or 27 Bal.

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
Just keep playing and try to keep the skills sharp. I love running, so some cardio and weights throughout the week.

What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
Even though they are down, I was born a Texas Longhorn fan.

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
Put the left hand batting glove on first then the right. Other than that, just go with the flow with whatever is working.

What would be your "at bat" music selection?
Bagpipes, as heard at the MWS.

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
Don't really know.

What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
Snowball in Denison, TX we get upper guys, major, and everyone else trying to have fun, and also watch some bombs!

What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
I have played at a few. But nothing beats BLD in Mansfield.

Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
Whatever is open lol

What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
Seen a couple. most recently there has been the legendary fart swing lol for all my VCH guys.

Tell us something about you that most would never know about you?
I have many different accents to help keep people loose, people said they help with motivational speeches lol

What was your favorite sports related gift you have ever given or received?
I have numerous autographs and jerseys from guys I have either played with and against.
