Why do you like the game of softball?
Great way to keep and feed the competitive edge
Also a great way to meet people from all over

There are quite a few from Texas. Steven "Reno" Malay is one to watch and also Ethan Stuckly is also another young guy that can play any position.

Not really, I watch alot of softball and try to learn things from everywhere I can.

What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
Playing out at the T4T in Palm Springs.  Brett Helmer was nice enough to let me tag along with them and play.  It was a good time and learned quite a bit.

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
My bp partner Ethan Stuckly has helped me quite a bit.  He taught me to stop moving my bat around and it made a huge difference. Just a simple thing, never thought it would be that big of a deal.  Also, Lyf Nimmo teaching me to that every at bat is a new start, put the last at bat behind you and don't press.

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Take alot of bp, and actually work on something.  Its not homerun derby

Bombs over Baghdad by OutKast

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
Raise the number on compression of bats

Got a baseball given to me from Mike Scott of the Astros when I was about 6 or so.  Being a 6 year old and getting a ball from an Astro was awesome.  My son is now six and we go to as many games as we can and hopefully he will get to have that same excitement one day.
