The competitiveness of the sport. Being able to play against multiple talent levels and I am a very very competitive person and it's also a great stress relief for me. Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
I played high school baseball

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
Everything I know about the game as a player I learned from a good friend of mine Alan Frost. He played Class A and taught me how to hit and how to pitch. I came from the outfield to the mound and have never looked back. I have always dreamed of playing upper level higher than C ball.

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
I wish i can honestly tell everybody but i have not played that level yet.

Is there a player that you would compare your game to?
Its a long shot but maybe Geno Buck, when it comes to the mound i think i do really well with defending the middle like he does.

What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
This last october I was playing in the Whole Enchilada tourney in NM and we had 2 outs and the winning run for the other team was on 3rd and the batter hits a lazer up the middle that I caught and we won the game .

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
Alan Frost, he has always told me to be a wall up the middle and that i had all the talent in the world but was a head case from the neck up lol.  I took that into consideration and have become a better player in which has allowed me to play the levels I have played.

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Work your butt off, lots of hitting practice,  fielding practice and to play to their potential And if something happens in one inning, let it go and do better the next and always keep your head up

What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
Over lap and i swing 26oz endload or 27oz balanced

Exercise and continue to eat healthy and lift weights

SKRILLEX

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
Upper level would help me become a better player and a better pitcher all around

What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
The Whole Enchilada.  Because you get to play teams from other states other than hometown teams. So you dont know what to expect

What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
Disney Wide World of Sports. Because thats where the big boys play and is just overall a beautiful complex

Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
Chilis

A old teammate of mind pulled his shorts up to his chest and played an entire inning like that.
