The game of softball gives me an oppurtunity to compete and to build friendships.

Once again there are too many good players in the game. There is a lot of young talent in the conference.

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
I started playing church league softball with my dad once I finished my last year of college baseball. After playing a spring season of church league I started playing in some E rec tournaments. I started to really enjoy the game and its competition so I joined a D level team for a year. I had a strong season and was approached Greg Millsaps and Donnie Munsford who gave me the chance to play with Adiktiv Dynasty. I played with those guys for half of a season and then started playing with Taylormade in 2013.

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
I believe conference hitters are more consistent. They are able to hit the ball to all parts of the field and hit homeruns when needed.

What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
My career highlight so far would be hitting in the Major homerun derby at Disney. It was an awesome experince to be able to represent Taylormade and Mizuno.

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
My dad has always been my #1 fan and has helped me with the game since I was a young kid. He pushes me harder than anyone and has made me the competitive player I am today.
