What positions do you play and what is your best position?
Anywhere in the outfield, and I'd have to say right field

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Ricky Huggins, Randall Boone, of course Greg Connell, and Andy Purcell, and Ryan Harvey he's the biggest most athletic guy I've ever seen play a sport

Why do you like the game of softball?
The game is so competitive, and I love how your hard work shows.

Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
Of course my boy KP but Eddie Bolden back home in GA needs to get a look plays anywhere in the outfield left handed player can go get it and sprays it all over the field.

What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
Young'n because I'm usually the youngest guy on the team

What is your height and weight?
6'2 215

Where do you call home?
Springfield, GA it's about 30 minutes north of Savannah

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
Trying to find a pickup tournament with some buddies

What do you do for a living?
I teach hitting and pitching lessons at an academy

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Football and baseball in high school then baseball in college

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
After my second year of junior college my buddy Mike Calahan had a really good C team and I left school on a Monday the following Saturday I was playing. Thanks to John Dutch he made a call to Primetime for me in 2013 I started the year wth them then went and played with OI Livingston

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
The talent in general pitchers rarely miss their spots defense steals outs every inning and the hitting

Is there a player that you would compare your game to?
I always try to compare myself to Wegman he plays the game with respect doesn't run his mouth and performs every weekend

What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
At the conference championships we were playin FBI and the bases were loaded we were up by 5 or 6 and there was a ball smoked down the right field line I dove made the catch we ended up winning the game.

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
My dad we always go to the field to work on hitting and fielding. He's always been the person to help me with my hitting even through baseball

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Work as hard as you can and if you get an opportunity to go play in a tournament where you know there are big name players go and treat the game with respect

What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
Pinky dropped top hand kind of sitting on my bottom hand. 27 oz end load

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
Hit the gym hit and eat as much as possible

What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
Atlanta Braves and definitely baseball

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
I have to step onto the field and off the field in the same sequence of steps it's really hard to explain

What would be your "at bat" music selection?
Amazing by Kanye West

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
I believe they did it this year with giving us more homeruns it will protect the pitchers better

What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
Boone's all u can eat!

What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
The stadium at Disney the playing surface is so nice you feel like your floating when you're running

Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
Wing house or hooters anything with a buffalo chicken sandwich and curly fries

What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
Aaron Tennison dove for a ball it hit him in the face and our second baseman Allen Ponder picked it up and turned 2

Tell us something about you that most would never know about you?
Any of my friends that go out with me will know, but I love dancing

What was your favorite sports related gift you have ever given or received?
At the East Coast Pro Showcase I received the Nike SPARQ top pitcher in the nation

    Great young up and comer to the game. Has all the tools to be one of the best. Hate to admit this Evan but that was me that took one off the face at the Smoky when Ponder turned 2. Still an assist.LOL good luck in 2016
