What positions do you play and what is your best position?
P/1B.  RF if necessary.

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Brian Wegman

Why do you like the game of softball?
Feeds my competitive nature.  Love traveling and meeting new ppl.  Have gotten to meet plenty over the years.

Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
Kyle Pearson from Smash it.  Murders the ball

What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
E.  kinda generic. Some just call me by my last name

What is your height and weight?
6'5" 250lbs

Where do you call home?
Elkton, Md

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
Out on the water.

What do you do for a living?
Carpenter.  Home remodeling

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
Started in 99' playing league ball.. was asked to play in a tournament and was hooked. Started playing C in 2005. Played on a cpl smaller conference teams and want to keep playing.

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
Definitely the pitching and Defense.

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Always play like someone is watching.  Stay humble.. let your play do the talking.

What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
Pinky drop, pinky overlap on top hand.  27oz

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
BP and Gym

What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
Ravens / football.  Hockey is a close 2nd

What would be your "at bat" music selection?
Pretty good at drinking beer

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
Force teams up. i believe it starts at the E level.  No reason 90% of the softball teams registered are at the entry level.  Forcing teams up will build a better C and B local program which allows those teams to play in state. As far as the conference goes… I feel it's doing fairly well the way it is now.

What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
Any Charity event.  I like helping others. Just a good feeling.

What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
Has to be WWOS.  The atmosphere there is great and fields are well maintained

Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
Texas Roadhouse.
