Derby Girls/OA/Legacy/Easton defeats Enough Said/Easton in the “if” game to win the 2017 USSSA Women’s Major!

1st Place – Derby Girls/OA/Legacy/Easton

#1 seeded Derby Girls brought home the Women's Major title after surviving a Friday night scare by beating Diamond Magic 15-13 on a walk off home run by Tara Salcedo.  They then rolled through the winner's bracket undefeated beating arch rival Enough Said in the semifinals.  Then Enough Said came back through the loser's bracket and beat Derby Girls 24-4 on Championship Sunday to force an "if" game where Derby Girls recovered and won the final game 30-19.  The tournament was moved from Champions Stadium with its 300 foot temp fences back to ESPN Wide World of Sports fields #10 and #11 because of hurricane Irma and concert damage to the turf.  This changed the women's game back the the 275 foot fences and led to a lot more home runs.

2nd Place – Enough Said/Easton

3rd Place – Bryant Express

4th Place – Smash It Sports
