Who are you playing with in 2017?
2017 Free Agent – bagoddrummer_10@yahoo.com

What positions do you play and what is your best position?
Shortstop, middle, 2nd. Uh I think people would say middle and short are my best.

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
There are so many good players I've seen. But I am impressed with Nic Santana every time I see him play.

Why do you like the game of softball?
I love the friendships and bonds you make with people. Plus it keeps my competitive spirit going.

Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
There are way to many to name. But there's a lot of good talent out there.

What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
C-Rob. I'm not even sure. It's just part of my name and it stuck.

What is your height and weight?
6'3 and 190

Where do you call home?
Seminole, Oklahoma

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
I love to spend my off weekends with my girlfriend or my family.

What do you do for a living?
I manage and am a technician at 2 veterinary clinics.

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
I played baseball and basketball in high school. Had the chance to play in college and decided not to.

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
I started playing local benefits. Didn't even know there was competitive softball. Got asked to go to worlds with a men's team and had a blast. Then helped put my own team together and got picked up by an upper team within a year. Then I was blessed enough to play conference events and b worlds last year.

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
Just the competition. The fact that there aren't bad teams, any team has a chance to win any given day.

Is there a player that you would compare your game to?
Uh I would like to say Luis Reyna. I pride myself on my defense and he is one of the best in the game. Not only that his hustle and effort make him stand out.

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
Ha actually it's my dad. He was one of the only reasons I played softball. He taught me how to love, respect, and play the game it should be played. He was the pitcher for the teams when I first started playing ball. So he had the biggest impact on my approach.

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Just keep practice and playing. Make yourself noticeable and available.

What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
I do a slight overlap. And I use a 26oz most of the time.

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
I try not to really take an off-season. I try to continue to play year round. And I also take bp. Hit off the tee. Hit a clincher ball. Anything I can do to maintain repetition.

What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
Atlanta Braves is my favorite sports team. And basketball is my other go to sport.

What would be your "at bat" music selection?
Souled Out by Lecrae

What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
Bld in Mansfield has some of the best turf around. And as far as dirt I love playing at the hall of fame in Oklahoma City.

Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
I'm always a fan of Chick-fil-A

What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
I won't name any names but when a friend of mine was running the bases and his pants fell down and he tripped and fell.

Tell us something about you that most would never know about you?
I toured all over the country in a rock band for many years.

What was your favorite sports related gift you have ever given or received?
There's a few to name but one that makes me laugh the most is the "thud" award. I got this playing fall ball and being hit so many times they created a special award for me.
