Charles Wright tribute page

Charles Wright

Charles Wright passed away this morning Sunday, April 10th after suffering a heart attack last week while taking batting practice.   Charles was 59 years old.  Charles played for many of the top teams from 1973 through 1997 and led Steele's in homeruns in 1986 with 503!  It was always amazing to see such a big guy play third base as well as he did.

Send pictures of Charles to dw@softballcenter.com and I will add them to his player page here.

Charles viewing is scheduled for April 13, 6-8pm at Mcmullen Funeral Home.
Funeral is scheduled for April 14 @ 11am also at Mcmullen, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31908

Charles Wright is listed as the 5th all time greatest player on Steve Dimitry's Softball History site:
