Changes at SoftballCenter.com!

Changes and some new announcements here at SoftballCenter:

The 2013 season is right around the corner and I wanted to bring everyone up to date on what the plans are for SoftballCenter.com and TheOldScout.com!

Lately things have been a little slow at SoftballCenter. That is because I have decided to change the blogging tool and content management system. Basically I am changing the software that is used to create and store articles from the current Joomla to the more common WordPress. I am hoping this allows me to bring some new features to SoftballCenter like polls, forms, and a twitter ticker where teams and players can tweet current and final scores during tournaments.

The WordPress change over should be complete this Tuesday or Wednesday (February 26th) so we'll be back to business as usual towards the end of the week. SoftballCenter.com will still be available throughout this process.

Another big change will be a new message board for SoftballCenter.com. We will go back to a board that you have to register for and it will have many categories to post under. A more traditional forum. TheOldScout board will remain the same.

Soon I will begin posting the Top 40 Team Rankings! Also I will be releasing the 2013 Prospect List! And finally I will be posting articles containing the poll results from polls about various topics from the past year. Then we will get ready for the start of the season!
