The Services will be Saturday August 14 at 1:00pm at Hamilton county school district office auditorium.  The repast will be held at springville community center (3710 NW Suwannee valley rd, lake city Fl 32055) ?

What positions do you play and what is your best position?
Team builder. I think I help or build any team I have 5 – 8 guys that's ready to go now

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Jeremy Yates, Tony Mack, Javon Gbaby Alston,Kevin Kennington, Reno Malay,

Why do you like the game of softball?
It a place to build life long friendship and to have fun while traveling

Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
Javon Alston kid has a crazy love for the game with a great glove and picks up the ball very well off the bat.

Roderick Amour it take a man to toe the rub at the conference level

Tory Means, Mike Williams, Tye Cobb, Aaron Sandoval, Jimmy Cobb, Marquis Curry, Derek Pena, Antz just to name a few others.

What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
I was a baseball player as child all through school. But I found love for coaching at 14 and I just want to change young man life in a good way.

Where do you call home?
Live Oak, FL

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
With my kids and wife who has my heart. I'm a huge FSU fan and love football and fishing.

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Baseball, Football and track in high school
Football in college

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
Got picked up for a extra outfielder for ASA Worlds in Panama City years ago when I was 16 years old

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
Non-conference the game is not played as clean and the hitters or pitcher are not as good

Conference its a job and those guys don't miss much and the pitcher are good

Is there a player that you would compare your game to?
Bret Helmer the love he show his players

What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
My first on the conference with a to have 8 – 2 vs A teams and we start as a C team and no one knew us. To knock the top A team in A worlds and the top B team in B worlds

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
Dwight Ziegler let me know never to give up I could make it.

Jimmy Cobb as a player to let me know to keep pushing

Clay Dickey and Jeremy Yates for meeting me know I can make at this level

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Stay humble, work hard. make every play you can always hustle and leave it all on the field you never know who looking

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
Check out the younger players to see who is up and coming and find away to get us all together to start building for the next year.

What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
FSU football

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
Pray before and after every game. Stay together no matter. Any never let no one touch my score book lol

What would be your "at bat" music selection?
Start from the bottom now we here

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
Stop always letting teams and players with big names have there way. Make the playing field even for all teams as much as possible

What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
Probably the Peach State right now we only played a few but we had the most success in that one it put is on the map

What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
Grand Park Myrtle Beach SC . Because the fields are turf they play very fast

Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
Chicken wrap man Columbus Ga

What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
I had a catcher one time to make 3 errors in 1 play at catcher

Tell us something about you that most would never know about you?
I'm very big on family and I don't meet many stranger

What was your favorite sports related gift you have ever given or received?
All my sponsors and players was in my wedding
