Who are you playing with in 2016?

What positions do you play and what is your best position?
Pitch, outfield and 2nd but pitching is my best  position!

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Greg Connell and andy Purcell. Greg has to be one of the best hitters I've ever seen and Andy because he wins at the highest level and dominates his position

Why do you like the game of softball?
i'm very competitive and have the desire to win!!

Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
There is a lot of young talent that is up and coming. That would be a tough one to answer.

What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
My name starts with the letter B so my softball buddies decided to add ""zo"" to the end so everyone knows me as Bzo.

What is your height and weight?
215 lbs

Where do you call home?
Stokesdale, NC

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
with my family!!

What do you do for a living?
I deliver beer for IH Caffey(miller lite)

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
I played football/basketball/baseball my whole high school career and then started softball as soon as I graduated.

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
I started when I first graduated with a guy by the name Wimpy Boles and my dad. I kinda got thrown on the mound and I have been there ever since. I just give it my all and try to get to the highest level possible.

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
I haven't reached the conference level yet but C/D are about the same. It's never a off pitch when you are on the mound.

Is there a player that you would compare your game to?

What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
My career highlight would have to be my 6 world championships that I have before the age of 30. I've been fortunate to be apart of some great teams but my work on the mound has to play some role in those.

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
My dad. No matter what he got me to the level I'm at today. He always stayed on me and wouldn't let me be a quitter. Hard work pays off.

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
you have to work at the game! If you give it your all and work toward your goal then the rest will come!

What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
Traditional. 26oz balanced legit is my favorite.

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
i try to get in the gym as much as possible and take as much BP as I can. That always gets me ready for the following season.

What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
North Carolina Tarheels!! Baseball

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
i always try to approach the plate with the same routine before I step in the box

What would be your "at bat" music selection?
Anything good gets my hype lol

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
I haven't got there yet so I'm not sure

What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
the "chance Crawford" is something we try to do every year because it's a benefit for a great cause.

What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
myrtle beach! It's hard to beat turf.

Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?

What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
Drunk guy stands in the box in 95 degree heat. Full swings and it goes straight down in front of the plate. Catcher tags the batter before he could even get out of the box. Guy walks back to the dugout and goes right  outside and starts throwing up lol

Tell us something about you that most would never know about you?
i don't keep secrets!!

What was your favorite sports related gift you have ever given or received?
My first ring that I received back in 2010. Winning a world with 196 teams is a very big accomplishment  in my eyes
