What positions do you play and what is your best position?
I play both outfield and infield but i consider myself a much better outfielder.

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
There are a lot of amazing softball players out there but one that really stands out in my mind is definitely Brian Wegman.. Its amazing to watch him play both sides of the ball!

Why do you like the game of softball?
Softball is my relax time/stress reliever. My teammates make it even more enjoyable because we have grown so much as a team and even more a family!

Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
That is a tough call. There are a lot of amazing players out there that i have had a chance to watch play and also play against or with.. But the one person that really has impressed me more and more over the years i would have to say is Ryan Parfitt. He has taken his game to another level this year i see and is well deserved! Ryan is an outstanding outfield and can also hit with the best of them!

I don't have any crazy nicknames but everyone calls me BA because of my initials.

5'9 200 lbs

Where do you call home?

A weekend off? What is that? during the season there is no such thing as a weekend off for me. But if i do have a day off from ball i would probably be fishing somewhere.

Audio Visual work.

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
I played baseball all the way through high school and 1 year of college

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
There is one person i have to thank for getting my whole softball career started and that would be my uncle. he brought me out to play with him in a league and by the end of the night i had 10 teams wanting me to play with them. then my uncle started taking me to tournaments out of state and i started meeting a lot of people, one thing led to the next and i got picked up on a team from NJ. after playing 1 year of E ball with the Gamecocks out of nj i then got picked up by an amazing coach and player as well, Boomer from team EFX a C team out of NJ as well. i also played with another C team after that called TNT out of new jersey as well, and then i got picked up by the team i am currently with no Above All Landscaping. I could not ask to be surrounded by a better bunch of guys and the greatest sponsor i have ever had the pleasure to play for, Joe Benanti. Joe gave our team and amazing opportunity to play in the conference this past year. It was by far the most fun year i have had in my 11 years of playing softball.

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
The way the whole game is played. And of course the best competition you can play against.. which everyone should be trying to play against!!!! you have to play hard and give 110% of hustle for the WHOLE game!

Is there a player that you would compare your game to?
I dont think so. everyone plays the game in their own way which makes everyone different.

What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
I would say probably a diving catch or throwing someone out on the bases somewhere a long the line.

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
Willie Allen hands down. the way he plays the game and knowledge he has has helped me over the year.. i have played with and against Willie for years and has had nothing but positive things to say to help me out.. Wish he would come back and play agian!!!!

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
The biggest advise i can give is to NEVER STOP WORKING!! there is always room to improve your game and make yourself better! Hitting is the biggest part of the game as you move up to the upper level!

What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
Overlap Grip with pinky off, and i swing a 26oz

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
i hit at least 2-3 times a week all winter long

What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
