Who are you playing with in 2018?

What positions do you play and what is your best position?
I play middle infield, I am most comfortable with playing the wheel man

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Filip Washington, he has great hands and a great work ethic 

Why do you like the game of softball?
I grew up watching my parents and sisters play since I was little. After college baseball I entered the slow pitch world and loved the intensity and competitiveness.

Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
All those chasing the same dream I am.

What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
Stache, I got stache when I played my first ASA national tournament in OKC with a team called Shut D out of Hawaii, there was a guy named lance (Worm) always said it looked like I had a penciled in mustache.

What is your height and weight?
5'10"

Where do you call home?
Hilo, Hawaii

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
Hitting the golf course

What do you do for a living?
Construction in the union

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
I played baseball and football all four years.
Also I went to a JC in Texas on a full ride scholarship,

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
Got asked to play in C nationals in OKC, I got up to the upper level by having a good mentor ( filip Washington ) and by putting in work everyday 

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
I'd have to say it was a faster pace and harder to hit your spots 

Is there a player that you would compare your game to?
Can't think of anyone at the moment 

What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
Making it to the conference level 

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
Filip Washington because he saw something in me and pushed me to be the best I can be

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Work hard and never stop working because there's always someone working harder.

What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
Pinky hanging over knob and 26oz 

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
Tons of batting practice and ground balls

What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
St. Cardinals 

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
Don't step on the white line before the game 

What would be your "at bat" music selection?
TNT by AC/D.C. Keeps me pumped up and ready to go

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
Making better ways of giving lower level players exposure to the upper level

What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
A tournament called west side in kona, hawaii because its right at home and nothing but good vibes 

What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
I'd have to say the RAC in Lacey Washington because it is well kept and the infield is turf

Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
I'd have to say it jus Depends on where you are playing at

What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
Some one rounding a base and getting snipered 

Tell us something about you that most would never know about you?
I own my own business 

What was your favorite sports related gift you have ever given or received?
Little league World Series title in 2011
