Major World Series countdown team #6 Precision/Easton!
#6 Precision/Easton – Chicago, Illinois
Sponsor/Manager – William Wax
Manager – Todd Ankney
Major interview with Precision's William Wax (Sponsor/Manager/Player):
What are your expectations for your team at the Major World Series?
We expect to win every game we play! Some people might think that's not realistic, but our philosophy is "why not us". Why play the game if you don't think you can win?
What players will be missing or injured for the Major World Series and how will that affect your lineup and defense?
We will be missing quite a few players, but will compete. We will move a few players around on both offense and defense.
Who is your star defensive player that fans should watch and why?
A large part of our success this year has been because of our defense. Our outfield should be fun to watch (Porter, Kirkwood, Kvasnicka).
What players are key to your teams offensive and defensive success at the Major World Series?
Offensively, Laski, Geron, Fisher, Rear, Thiede, Kirkwood, Fracek, and Burgmeier are all keys.
What other (if any) tournaments does your team have left to play in 2014?
We are hoping to play the ASA A (possibly the Super) in OKC, and maybe the GSL Open in October.
